ECS A75F2-A2(1.0) FM2 AMD A75 (Hudson D3) SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard
ECS A75F2-A2(1.0) FM2 AMD A75 (Hudson D3) SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: 6 x SATA3 6gb/s sockets on motherboard. 2 x USB3.0 on back plate, and another USB3.0 socket on motherboard to add two more USB3.0 ports anywhere on ATX. Bought it to build budget PC it has FM2 processor socket so I got AMD A4 for 55 bucks which price can't beat!!! A lot of DDR3 RAM modules supported, though only 2 slots guess no need more because 8gb DDR3 costs only 45 bucks, so I got 16gb for 80. Motherboard has 3 x PCI-E slots for add on cards and 3 regular PCI slots though it wasn't really they rarely used in modern add on cards. There are 3 built in Video Ports on backside: D-Sub + DVI +HDMI. I mostly use HDMI with my 32" HDTV and couldn't figure out how to change resolution as video-controller is not N'vidia and runs on different drivers and software so there's no such option to stretch corners to make custom resolution because my HDTV has not standard. Anyway I had video-card that used before upgrade with previous ECS motherboard so there's PCI-E 16x slot for that purpose. There 2 SATA cables included in the box back plate and manual (no mounting screws). I'm familiar with ECS Elitegroup motherboards because had ECS in my previous AMD built and haven't any problems. I like ECS motherboards because of their quality reliability and good drivers support. And motherboard stays cool!!

Cons: Weird built in Video Controller not N'vidia

Overall Review: Wish it had 10 SATA3 sockets. I like to have 3 of PCI-E slots co i can add controllers for additional 4 SATA3 No necessary at least for me to have 3 old PCI slots. Averall good buy.

noizy and hot

ASUS GeForce GT 220 1GB DDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Low Profile Ready Video Card ENGT220/DI/1GD2(LP)
ASUS GeForce GT 220 1GB DDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Low Profile Ready Video Card ENGT220/DI/1GD2(LP)

Pros: Good picture and sound quality through hdmi, Easy to set up with drivers from Nvidia website, Compact design doesn't take two slots.

Cons: The fan makes awful noize!! can't even take it no more, hate this card! Even it spins all the way, the heatsink remains hot. Reaches temperature 80-85C in load. The heatsink design could be better for heat reduce purposes. I couldn't find driver for Windows 7 64x on supplied CD and wouldn.t suggest to download them on asus website, you'll get error messages, go to Nvidia websitefor them.

Overall Review: I've chosen this car because of thin compact design which is rare for low profile cards. Would fit in my Dell Optiplex 755, but this fan screws everything up. Asus has should been though more how to choose quality fans.

Nice SD memory card

SYBA SY-MRA55005 Multipurpose 5.25" Bay Adapter for Slim Optical Drive and 2.5" SATA I / II / III HDD, with 2 USB 3.0
SYBA SY-MRA55005 Multipurpose 5.25" Bay Adapter for Slim Optical Drive and 2.5" SATA I / II / III HDD, with 2 USB 3.0

Pros: Allows to add 2 more USB3.0 on PC front panel and having Adds Slim Optical Drive on on one 5.25" bay, which is nice and has integrated SSD 2,5" bay. USB3.0 header cable connects to motherboard USB3.0 header plug. Same time allows to hot-swap SSD 2.5" for backing data (it has small door and integrated bay to fit SSD in). Included 4 reg. screws to mount it to 5.25" PC bay and 2 little screws to mount Slim Optical Drive inside of adapter. I mounted Pioneer BDC-TD03HA optical drive inside it has SATA-Slim connector type so had to buy cable for that separate. Pioneer BDC-TD03HA optical drive often comes built in housing which allows USB interface to use it externally, but in order to get it work internally with SATA interface need remove USB housing. This 5.25" bay adapter looks nice on the front of my PC has shiny chromed SSD bay door.

Cons: No multimedia card reader on this 5.25" bay adapter. No SATA-Slim or IDE-mini cables included which is required in order to connect Slim Optical Drive so will have to buy it separate.

Overall Review: I would rather prefer to have SD-card reader than SSD bay in this 5,25" bay adapter.

perfect

Cons: None
