Very Nice
Pros: Easy to overclock to 4GHZ, heat is not an issue because I water cool. You can't beat the price.
Cons: None
Overall Review: It is hard to find good sources for help in overclocking. My rig is: Asus Crosshair IV Ext / Phenom II X6 1090T (OCed to 4G) / 4GB Corsair ram (DDR3-1600) / 3 x ATI HD4850 in Xfire (all 3 water cooled. I have the cpu stable 24/7 at 4G with multiplyer @ 20 and CPU V @ 1.488 // Ram @ 1600 1.65V.
Holds it where I want it
Pros: Easy to install, nice for multi angle viewing.
Cons: The hand knob to adjust the tilt is a little to get hold of to tighten/loosen.
Works great
Pros: Had a M3A32MVP and I had stability issues witch culminated in an RMA due to dead IDE SATA controller chip.(that is what ASUS told me) I got this before I sent the other board in and it has work flawlessly. I have the Phenom 2 X4 940 (BLACK) running stable at 3.8 GHZ at 1.5 V. I water cool but still have 2 120mm case fans to keep the board cool. No heat issue at all.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: If you don't go crazy with BIOs settings it is easy ti get a stable OC for every day use.
LOVE IT
Pros: This CPU is great. I had a Phenom 9850 and it was fine with water cooling I could run stable at 3.0GHZ and top out at 42 cent. The Phenom II X4 940 runs stable at 3.8GHZ at 1.5V and never gets above 40C even after CPU Burn in for 1 hour. I have it on an ASUS M3A79-T Deluxe. A real plus is that I did NOT need a new MOBO or RAM to upgrade.
Cons: none.
Money saving
Much cheaper than buying an entirely new unit
