Excellent Graphics Card
Pros: No Fan, yet still runs rather cool + Easy install, updated itself afterwards + Delivered 6.8 for Graphics in Windows Experience Index + Just remember its large, takes up two slots - make sure you have room for it !
Cons: To be seen - As always !
Overall Review: I run the ASUS GT-DCSL-2GD3 video card, with an AMD FX-6100 Zambezi 3.3GHz 95W Six-Core processor and 16G of Crucial Ballistix Tactical DDR3 1600 memory on a BIOSTAR TA970 motherboard. Never had any problems
Great Little Board
Pros: It's cheap. It supports my socket 478 Pentium 4. It arrived promptly, even over the Christmas holiday. [As usual Newegg came through. Yes,They Rock!!] The onboard video is Suprisingly Good. Though maybe not intense gaming quality, But Good ! Read the other reviewers comments - It's a Nice Board !
Cons: Chip driver package wouldn't install off the disc, so got it off Biostar web support. [Yawn !!] Needed to upgrade to DDR2 and could use another fan connection on motherboard. [But I KNEW THAT! READ! things before buying]
Overall Review: EASY install !! Up and running in a couple hours. Got this board to replace a Gigabyte GA-81G1000 I had for 3 years, and thought should have lasted longer. [That's another story!] A Pentium 4 3.0 w/Hyperthreading [Fantastic little CPU], Dual Channel memory and 2 gb's of Crucial DDR2, make's a sweet running little box. Not a Gamer? Maybe Not, but darn near Dual Core technology. And cheap! Note: I've been running a Biostar U8668-D w/Pentium 4 2.2 for almost 6 years. Been used hard [Kids!] and is still kicking. Hope I get the same kind of mileage out of this one.
Good Stuff
Pros: All four sticks booted on intel board. Works great. Been two weeks, now. Shipping GREAT as usual.
Cons: None - does what its supposed to do.
Overall Review: Have bought eight sticks of Cosair memory. All worked perfectly out of the box. What more can you ask for. Oh yeah, ***** NEWEGG RULES *****
