Pros: Large capacity, good enough speed for video recording, low power useage, cool running.
Cons: Doesn't have a 64 gig SSD built in for my operating system. Seriously, there isn't much to complain about.
Power could be better
Pros: Low price, worked good for several months.
Cons: Power adapter failed yesterday.
Overall Review: Has been running USB ASIC miners 24/7.
Updated design has a light switch
Pros: Big fan, moves a lot of air. Light switch in case you change your mind about the LEDs.
Cons: Large fans like this are very hard on the motor. They burn out after 5-6 years in my experience.
Overall Review: Classic Cooler Master product.
Strong and Quiet
Pros: Very good performance, draws less power than the Kingwin 700 watt unit it replaced. Conservatively rated power output. I can't hear the fan over my CPU fan, which is not very loud, even with all the other fans turned off. The air coming out of it is cool.
Cons: Doesn't make coffee.
Overall Review: Great value in a rebranded Seasonic product. I recommend this PSU highly.
Good card for the money
Pros: Very fast GPU, power consumption not extremely bad. Small size, hardly any bigger than the Sapphire 6850 it replaced. Fans are not very loud and can be tweaked with MSI Afterburner. It was on sale at a very good price.
Cons: Runs a little hot at stock fan speed. Runs fairly cool with the fan speed boosted by MSI Afterburner. Generates enough heat that it persuaded me to buy a larger (HAF 212) case to replace my old Nikao Dragonfire.
Overall Review: I uninstalled and reinstalled the graphics driver in Windows 8 when upgrading from a 6850. I probably should have tried the old driver first. I was able to use the same Linux graphics driver.
Large and quiet
Pros: Wavy blades disrupt turbulence for high flow without much noise. Can't hear it over the PSU fan.
Cons: Odd "thin" mounting on both sides of fan. I use the "wrong" side to be thick, can't take much torque on the screws in this position but I don't need to change to short screws.
Overall Review: I use this on my CPU, AMD Phenom II X4-965 clocked at about 4ghz. This replaces a 140mm non-PCM Scythe with a similar shape. It is mounted on a Cooler Master Geminii. Using a large fan like this in a blow-down configuration cools the CPU, memory, South Bridge, MOSFETs and other motherboard components.
Good product, quick delivery considering it's from China.
This version of the Cooler Master fan has a light switch on it. Otherwise very similar to the old ones they replaced.
