Great Reliable Blu-Ray
Pros: This is a great player and burner. I have burned several Blu Ray disks and a typical burn for a full Blu-Ray disk is under 20 minutes. I also played some DVD and Blu-Ray movies with flawless results. It installed easily and without any issues.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: I am using this burner in a system with an ASUS P6TD Deluxe, Intel i7 Bloomfield running at 2.93 GHz, with 12 Gb of RAM, video card is an ASUS EAH5850 and using Win 7 64 BIT. I use the software that came with the burner (Blu-Ray Disk Suite).
Great 64 BIT OS
Pros: Very clean, fast installation. Very fast and reliable operation. Absolutly no issues so far. Can't wait to switch my other PCs over to this OS.
Cons: None so far
Overall Review: My system consists of an ASUS P6TD Deluxe, Intel i7 Bloomfield running at 2.93 GHz, 12 Gb of RAM, ASUS EAH5850 video card, Pioneer Blu-ray, and two WD SATA drives, Win 7 64 BIT.
Great Case
Pros: This is a nice case. It looks good, has lots of cooling fans, is easy to set up and organize wires. This is the best designed case I have used over the 15 plus builds I have completed in the past 18 years. I had no problem with the cut out using an ASUS P6TD Deluxe and my V8 fit perfectly. I do not experience the issue reported with the top and front case panels coming off.
Cons: The fans are a little loud, but much quieter than the case on the system I replaced. Dust tends to collect in the top front panel where the various case ports are.
Overall Review: The front case light is a nice touch.
Appears to work
Pros: Low cost, moderately easy to install. Appears to work as designed. Fits easily on an ASUS P6TD Deluxe in a Lian Li PC B5F case.
Cons: Instructions leave a little to be desired and I had to go to a YOUTUBE video to watch a couple of installations to make sure I got it right. I was a little concerned about over tightening the screws and damaging the MB since there is no real way to tell when tight is tight enough
Overall Review: I am running an Intel i7 940 at 2.93 GHz. At idle the temp is 38-39 deg C. Under load it’s about 42-44 deg C. This is about 10 degrees hotter than my old P4 running at 2.4 GHz. I have not tried to over clock yet to see what happens.
Works Great and Inexpensive
Pros: Easy to install. Works great with older ASUS MB. As hoped, it increased the performance of my older system.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: I purchaed this memory to upgrade an older ASUS P4B533E mother board based system I build back in 2002. I went to the Crucial site and used their utility to determine what memory I required and any limitations. This partricular Asus board has three memory slots but can only handle a total of 2 GB. I purchased and used two of these memory modules.
Good Flash Reader
Pros: Excelent price. Installed easily - takes an entire MB USB header since it has two internal USB cables. My system found the device easily and it works great. I have tried a couple different flash drive formats and they all work.
Cons: Non so far.
Overall Review: Since my MB only has one USB header I had to disconnect my case USB, however there is a USB port on the reader so it was a one for one trade. There is a blue LED on the front that is on when the computer is on. I have a case with a door and this lights up the cooling vents when the door is shut which looks nice. This is an older computer (Asus P4B533E MB, 2 GB RAM, only one USB header on the MB, running WIN XP Home 32 BIT).
