Bad customer service
- Pros: Nothing special to write except it's fast enough to play games on.
- Cons: The customer support are horrible. The laptop broke down after two days of using it, so I sent it back. Guess what, it took a month for me to get the laptop back, because some incompetent employee got my laptop switched with some old laptop.
The battery only last about 2 hours max. The laptop usually overheat if you leave it on for more than 4 hours. You'll pay about $100 more for electricity just for using this.
dont buy
- Pros: very fast and solid. Good processor and RAM and Harddrive.
- Cons: If you get the version with windows XP x64bit version like i did, you are about to become very frustrated. Nothing it compatible with it and it crashes when you put a load on it. My screen ripped also and cost $xxx to replace. I have heard of other such incidents.
- Other Thoughts: Get the 50005, I own one now and it is incredible!
Best Lap top ever
- Pros: This is my 2nd Acer Laptop. I got the lap top back in Feb 06. The screen had been damaged in shiping the customer services at New Egg sucks... After fighting with them for well over a month I finaly got a replacement... I had one problem with the CD drive losing it drivers... I called Acer and the customer serives there was great they told me how to fix the problem and walk me step by step... Have had no problems with it since...
- Cons: The top gets dirty and so dose the key board... I also got a few scraces...
- Other Thoughts: I tell everyone I know not only to get a Acer laptop but get the Ferrari...
