Pros: I have had tried 3 vga coolers over the past 6 months and this is the best so far. Just before this i had the zalman vf700 which was a solid performer, so i'll compare to that. With this cooler my idle temps are about 6 degrees cooler and under a load about 8 degrees cooler. AMAZING. It allowed me to further overclock my 7800gt to an astounding 550/1200 mhz (great for air cooling) max load temps with call of duty 2 are around 65c.
Cons: be careful not to bend your video card circuit board too much with this new mount, tighten the screws 1 turn at time in a criss cross pattern just until its snug. The new mount can really exert some force on the gpu.... this is a secret to its sucess...
Other Thoughts: The cooler has these advantages over the vf700
1. more fins for more surface area 2. more mass for more heat capacity 3. heat pips that really help suck the head out of the core and distribute it with max efficiency 4. an amazing mount system that really secures the heat sink to the gpu

Pros: um...everything!
Cons: Maybe a little on the price, but I'm willing to pay because the stock HSF was a tornado machine.
Other Thoughts: The milling and lapping on this thing is great, then when coupled with some AS-cleaner, then Arctic-5, my temps on my X1900XT went from 51-85 idle-load respectivly to 41-71 when the fan is at full speed, (which by the way is still 1000x quiter than the stock), I couln't stand the constant whirr-up, whirr-down on the stock, this one does a mucho better job at cooling!! BUY ONE NOW!! Oh and make sure when you install the ramsinks you let them set for at least 45min to an hour before you install into your machine and they will acheive 90% hold after 24hours.

Pros: Bought for my 9800GT, which had a bad fan. Dropped the idle temp from 50C to 41C and load from 75-80C to 55-60C. Even though it is not on the compatibility, it most certainly is compatible with the 9800GT. I have it plugged into a molex-->fan adapter so it will run at 100% all the time. Whisper quiet. I love it!
Cons: It is not free ;) The adhesive on the ramsinks could be a little better. I had to hold it on for a few seconds until they stuck. Remember to let them sit for a few hours before using it otherwise the heat will probably cause them to fall off. The manual recommends 24 hours, but I just left it overnight and it was fine.
Other Thoughts: The fan speed knob is nice, but I really prefer the ones attached to the PCI bracket. I don't like having cables running out of my case because the cats tend to play with them. I don't think it is considered a con, but it is worth mentioning. As always, Newegg got it to my door quickly!

Pros: Not too big, very quiet. Bought because my XFX 8800GS was overheating (50C idle 80C at full load!) Installed it and my temps dropped drastically. Full load is a full 30C cooler than the stock fan.
Cons: None really, install was a bit involved but the clear instructions made up for it.
Other Thoughts: If you've got GPU temp problems and this one fits your card, buy it.
