It is a hard drive
Pros: Was the cheapest 4TB drive available when I bought it. Shipping was free and fast - two days. I 'deshell' external drives to use in hot-swap bays, making one GPT partition on the drive - it comes to 3.63 TB formatted. The drive is actually a WD Green - model WD40EZRX
Cons: none
Overall Review: As to why the drive sells for much more without the shell, I have no idea. That is just the way it is. Easy to fix just using a flat head screwdriver though.
Look elsewhere
Pros: USB3, powered e-sata, manual, cost, 6 Intel SATA ports
Cons: double-boot issue still not fixed latest bios (beta 1850) overclocks the BCLK to 103 at default - not necessarily a good thing. It should be 100. general instability, even at stock speed yes, I am going back to my old E VGA 1366 i920 that runs stable all day at 4.2. If you are on a stable, overclocked LGA1366 already, Sandy is NOT an upgrade
Overall Review: Fits a huge Noctua DH-14, but you have to put the RAM in before adding the second (outer) CPU fan Works with OCZ revodriveX2 in second slot - P67 limitations mean the graphics card in slot 1 and the revodrive are both running at 8x. Not an issue at all with a 6770 graphics card, of course, but it may be with a really high-end card
Three of these so far, none bad yet.
Pros: I take these out of the shell, to use in hot-swap bays. I have not had one fail yet. I make one big GPT partition in Windows 10 on the drive, then quick format it.
Cons: Why do I have to disassemble an external drive to save $30 over the cost of a bare drive? Ah well, it is not just newegg, that seems to be industry standard.
Overall Review: I recommend this product for data storage, I use them for movies and TV shows. It is not 7200rpm, but they are plenty fast when it comes to playing 1080p video from them.
Check the laws of your state
Pros: Good price
Cons: Check the laws of your state - most states require a motorcycle driver's license, a motorcycle license tag, and motorcycle liability insurance for any scooter over 49cc. So, you may as well get a used motorcycle, if that is the case.
Overall Review: Based on engine size, I expect these to top out at 40-45MPH, for an average-sized person. A 250CC scooter would top out at 55-60.
Works great
Pros: easy to swap drives inside the unit, no screws low cost
Cons: glossy finish collects fingerprints easily
Overall Review: not usb3 - but with e-sata, who cares?
Great - as long as you are sitting totally still
Pros: sounds good, if you are sitting still
Cons: cable shroud makes noise, and ANY movement at all of the cables transfers that noise to your ears. So walking, jogging, running, turning your head, etc are not a good idea with these. Good only for sitting in front of your computer, phone, MP3, etc
Overall Review: Expected better from Sennheiser
