I'm happy with the pool
Pros: dark walls color that keep the water warmer. Covered my uneven ground with 5" crushed concrete, used DIY water level ( clear hose filled with water) to level the ground , and the pool looks as if it is standing on a flat leveled concrete slab, as I don't have any slope on any side. I laid couple sheets of rigid foam insulation underneath the liner (got them from HD). Pressure gauge on the filter filled with water. I contacted Intex and they sent replacement immediately I got the Saltwater unit from Intex for Chlorine generation
Cons: Ladder is a risky adventure by itself. I'm 190 lbs. Every time I go up, I'm not sure if will be able to make it to the top safely, and every time I'm up, I'm not sure if I will be able to make it down safely too. It swings right/left, forward/backward. You cannot even know which direction it's swinging in order to counter balance it with your weight. I ended up fastening both legs on one side outside the pool to a 2 X 6 to add some stability and lessen the adrenaline pumping when deciding to use it. Filter/pump that came with the pool is waaaaaaay undersized for vacuuming. I have to set the filter to "Circulate" and rely on the fine netting inside the vacuum I got from Intex (Intex Deluxe Pool Maintenance Kit) every time I vacuum, otherwise the pump does not have enough power to suck water through vacuum netting and sand filter. I will upgrade to probably 16" filter in the future. I got "Intex Deluxe Wall Skimmer". What a joke. Definitely it's not made for such undersized pump.I keep it as decoration for now until I upgrade to more powerful pump.
Overall Review: despite the cons I mentioned, I still like the pool and definitely recommend it
very slow
Pros: Sleek design. Easy client interface
Cons: Keep disconnecting. I disabled the 2.4Ghz and enabled the 5Ghz only, for my New IPad. The router is located on the 2nd floor, If I'm calling somebody on Skype and have the video on, and I'm on the first floor directly under where the router is located, the signal on IPad goes from 3(max) to 1(min) and to nothing every couple minutes. I get so frustrated that I turn the IPad off and use my desktop PC. I don't know what the range is supposed to be for this piece of junk that everybody is bragging about its great radius, but I don't think 12 or 15 feet is considered GREAT by any mean. I will contact Newegg to see if I can return this joke.
it's Ok
Pros: Was on sale
Cons: not as bright as advertised
Overall Review: It's bright but I'm not sure if it's really 1200 lumen as advertised. It's still OK though, for the price I paid (it was on sale for five bucks). It's aluminum, and does not feel cheaply made, and does not need fancy batteries, so I can use my AAA batteries and keep charging them over and over. To cycle between all the different modes you don't have to press the button all the way down, just press it very lightly and it will switch to the next mode
Learn for my mistake
Pros: since I'm new to "Pool" things, in the beginning I thought the machine is not generating salt as I kept testing it and always showed zero chlorine level. I learned to add Cyanuric Acid and the chlorine jumped to the level I wanted. My pool is 5000 gallons and Salt level is kept at 3400 ppm. I could not be happier
Cons: none
Overall Review: Very happy with this salt generator
Great inexpensive switch
Pros: PoE+ support IEEE 802.3at Fanless Managed
Cons: Nothing I know
Overall Review: To set it up: ZyXEL factory IP address is : 192.168.1.1 My Surfboard 6580 assign DHCP IP as 192.168.0.XXX so I had to set my PC IP address subnet , the same as the switch. 1- Disconnect all other device from PC 2- Connect ONLY ZyXEL to PC 3- Set PC IP address to Static. (subnet should be the same as the swith subnet) I set mine as: 192.168.1.5 4- Reboot PC 5- Open Chrome and type the switch address (192.168.1.1) 6- You should now see ZyXEL admin web page 7- Log in to ZyXEL and change its IP address: From: 192.168.1.1 To: 192.168.0.254 (replace '254' by a number outside the range of DHCP number assigned by my SurfBoard 6580) 8- Connect SurfBoard 6580 to switch 9- Reboot PC 10- You should be able to login to ZyXEL now NOTE: "254" is because SurfBoard 6580 DHCP IP range is between 0 and 253. Therefore "254" is out of this range and guarantee it to always be static
Works great
Pros: I'm not a gamer, i just need a card that works nice on my screen. It's Working great so far. HDMI + Display port + 2GB memory + great resolution + $20 rebate, were all selling point for me and more than I need.
Cons: very noisy.Get ready for a headache if you decide to buy it.
