Pros: ASUS product, nice 5ghz networking with 2.4ghz. All ports receiving max bandwidth and good speeds from previous Belkin router
Cons: Not nearly a month, 29 days to the full month of ownership, I've had to restart the router 3 times because it looses connection. I am not certain what the issue is and have updated to the latest firmware. I hate coming home to no internet and having to fiddle with the power down/startup procedures to get your router/modem going again. Troubleshooting by plugging directly into modem suggested router was flunky.
Other Thoughts: I'm fairly disappointing in lack of response from ASUS given I own 4 - 27" monitors (1-144mhz 3D), ROG motherboard Formula IV, GTX780 asus. Been one week and still waiting for response on what's wrong with the router. I Typically go LynkSYS but been loving ASUS lately that I thought I'd try out a router in THEIR name.
-1 egg for disconnects (inconvenience)
-1 egg for poor customer response
This review is from: Logitech X-140 5 watts 2.0 Speakers
Pros: No real specifics to the card, nice easy simple speakers in my opinion. However, I think I should have gotten a 2.1 instead of just speakers, sorta missing that *THUMP* from a woofer.
Cons: No Woofer- but then again these were only temporary.
Other Thoughts: Easy to use, plug in, Logitech. Also do note, they are tall slightly taller than your typical mail envelope, picture did it no justice nor did I care to look at the dimensions. Had to tip speakers on the side given how tall they were.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Ran BF4 on FULL Ultra settings, purrs like a kitten. Temps were favorable to what I typically run at, at about 55c to 60c with no tweaks or boosts out of box. I recently had a 660ti which ran well over 70's and had fan speed super high to kick it down to a favorable setting 70(max). Card is big, but I have a full tower, so didn't bother me. Also ran Tomb Raider and got about 70 frames with max settings (I know TR is more AMD sided). Its very nice to come into another tier of video cards given that the gtx660ti I had was just over 2 years old now, so somewhat current.
Cons: Bigger than my shoe size. Was fairly disappointed ASUS didn't stamp their ROG logo on the card with some nice LED's or something, would have made an excellent addition to the card. -1 egg for being a high end ASUS (OC)with no ROG LED, but I digress.
Other Thoughts: Unfortunately, I purchased this card because the GTX 780STRIX was sold out, but all is well card runs smoothly and glad to say its fairly quiet under the load. I am also not much of an overclocker but the GPU tweak seems fairly easy to use.READ FULL REVIEW
