Awesome

BELKIN BP112230-08 8 Feet 12 Outlets 4320 Joules Pivot-Plug Surge Protector
BELKIN BP112230-08 8 Feet 12 Outlets 4320 Joules Pivot-Plug Surge Protector

Pros: Best surge protector I've ever owned. I used this to replace two standard 8 outlet single-strips I had. With the big power bricks for the cable modem, router, speakers & switch here it was well worth it.

Cons: None.

Doesn't really work well

Koutech 2002E Dual Port Hi-Speed USB 2.0 ExpressCard
Koutech 2002E Dual Port Hi-Speed USB 2.0 ExpressCard

Pros: Cant really think of any.

Cons: To actually plug something into the USB ports you have to hold the card or it will eject from the ExpressCard slot. Also, the one I received would detect the device, then it would fail and re-detect in an infinite loop. Probably wasn't giving enough power to the USB ports on the card.

Overall Review: Better off getting a USB hub with 8 ports instead of this.

Recommend Against

ASUS X540UA-DH31 15.6" Full HD Dual Core Laptop (Intel Core i3-6006U 2.00 GHz Processor, 4 GB DDR4, 1 TB HDD, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, DVD Drive, Windows 10)
ASUS X540UA-DH31 15.6" Full HD Dual Core Laptop (Intel Core i3-6006U 2.00 GHz Processor, 4 GB DDR4, 1 TB HDD, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, DVD Drive, Windows 10)

Pros: The usual solid ASUS visual appearance.

Cons: Whether the blame falls on what should be a strong 6th gen Intel CPU or the mechanical hard drive, this machine is painfully slow. This computer was purchased to replace a 5 year old Lenovo with a 3rd Gen Core i3, however that machine blows this one away.

Overall Review: My opinion? Don't buy this computer.

Simple. Works.

Link Depot LD-HS-6 6 ft. Black & Red Ultra High Speed HDMI cable
Link Depot LD-HS-6 6 ft. Black & Red Ultra High Speed HDMI cable

Pros: Works just fine.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: No reason at all to pay the over-inflated price for an HDMI cable in a retail store when you can get the same thing for $8

Simply Amazing

ASUS VH226H Black 21.5" HDMI Widescreen 16:9 Full HD 1080P LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 ASCR 12000:1 (1000:1) Built in Speakers
ASUS VH226H Black 21.5" HDMI Widescreen 16:9 Full HD 1080P LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 ASCR 12000:1 (1000:1) Built in Speakers

Pros: Bright sharp picture, video looks incredible and text is sharp over HDMI & DVI. Bought two of these and neither one had a single dead or stuck pixel. Also very happy with the stand, it's wider than most monitors and seems far more solid.

Cons: Are you kidding me? None!!

Overall Review: There are several picture modes and many settings but no auto-adjust. Took about 10 minutes to get everything adjusted perfectly. Also, don't personally recommend using VGA for these monitors as the text is pretty muddy and there is some ghosting. I don't think this is something against the monitor. More I think it's that this monitor's default resolution is above what the 20+ year old VGA spec can handle.

Sadly, DOA

KINGWIN KF-21-IPF-B Black Mobile 5.25" HDD Rack
KINGWIN KF-21-IPF-B Black Mobile 5.25" HDD Rack

Pros: Quality construction on the case, metal not plastic so it feels solid instead of cheap and fragile.

Cons: Burnt electronics smell upon hooking up this particular unit.

Overall Review: If it wouldn't have been DOA it probably would have been quality hardware.
