Handy device!

Pros: Really nice not having to mess with an external case or opening system case to hook up IDE cables.
Cons: Power supply is rather bulky, but with a dual voltage output I don't think they can make it much smaller.
Overall Review: I haven't tried using it with a CD or DVD burner, but it has performed flawlessly on HDD's. I've used it to read data from old drives, transfer data from an old system to a new system, partitioning new drives and mirroring drives for new systems. Both laptop and desktop drive connections have worked flawlessly.
Unreliable

Pros: None...
Cons: I found it to be completely unreliable.
Overall Review: On two occasions I had it totally scramble my data, I was unable to recover it using any of the normal tools, forcing me to reformat. On another occasion, it corrupted itself such that the OS wanted to force a reformat... again unrecoverable. Finally it just died completely with a slow blink on the LED indicator and I wasn't even able to get the OS to recognize the device at all.
Worked !

Pros: Worked fine with the supplied drivers in XP Pro. Excellent signal strength too, which was a concern since the router is over 100' away and in a different room. Still connects at full speed!
Cons: Nothing yet...
Nice little case

Pros: Nice little package. Can be used in both tower and desktop configurations.
Cons: CD bay mounting screws stripped easily. Easily fixed by using slightly larger sheet-metal screws (as opposed to machine threads, but rather inconvenient.
Overall Review: Will definitely use this case again for any future "mini" builds. The versatility makes up for the slight annoyances.
Can be a bit quirky to set up

Pros: CHEAP! Once you get it configured, it works well.
Cons: Can be hard to get to play nicely. Seems to take a while to sync with network too. Most wireless cards connect just a few seconds after windows boots, but this one seems to take 1/2 minute to a minute... Led me to think that the configuration was wrong and I kept fiddling with it until I was finally patient enough for it to connect.
Hard to beat an ASUS

Pros: Dropped in a new system and worked without any problems. Loaded with XP pro and stock drivers and everything worked fine. I did update the drivers a week or so later, but not for any lack of functionality, just good practice.
Cons: No worries so far!
