i5 performance with graphics support Intel cannot match.
Pros: You get a lot of CPU and graphics support for peanuts.
Cons: Not all AM4 motherboards are ready for this next gen CPU. All AM4 motherboards can support this CPU, but you may need to update the BIOS before it will work. This is problem because you cannot upgrade the BIOS without a working CPU in the socket. Fortunately, AMD is providing a free Boot Kit on their support website for customers in this situation.
Overall Review: This CPU is part of a PC I'm building to give away to a kid who's family cannot afford a computer. It is wonderful that AMD is making a positive impact in the computer CPU market. This CPU allows me to build a very capable system for a price that simply wasn't possible a year ago.
A disappointment
Pros: May be useful for anyone using very OLD video hardware. Think, stuff that uses magnetic tapes. Although, I haven't been able to test this. It just "appears" to have support for these devices.
Cons: My Logitech cam is capable of 60fps at 1080p. You would never know this from inside this software. The best video quality is can get recording video using this software looks like 240p quality at 10 fps. This is after doing all of the updates. Furthermore, installation of the software is full of bloatware you need to specifically choose not to have installed along with your software.
Overall Review: After wasting several hours of my life attempting to get some use out of this software, I found that I could not create any video media of acceptable quality. The editing portion of the software is not intuitive and mostly a pain in my backside to use. I sincerely wish I had not purchased this. I eventually found some open source software for free that worked much better and did everything I needed both intuitively and with high quality 1080p 60fps results. At this point, I would trade my copy of this software for a used SATA cable.
N-vidi-who?
Pros: AMD software is hands down the best out there. The cooling on this card and build quality seriously blew me away. Performance is so close to 4080 territory that it was a no-brainer to choose this card.
Cons: None
Overall Review: Folks, this is really the best high-performance card for anyone who actually has a budget and cannot afford to throw money off a roof. Performance is amazing. I'm running a 1440p monitor, so my performance is stupid-good using this card.
Wow, 2Tb for less than $70
Pros: Works perfectly, no complaints at all.
Cons: Wasn't a buy-one get-one free deal.
Overall Review: Yeah, it's gen 3 and not gen 4. So what? It's not my primary drive anyhow. The second NVME port on my motherboard doesn't support gen 4, so it doesn't make any difference. It is still very fast and will blow away any SATA drive out there.
A-Tier PSU for a C-Tier price
Pros: Rock solid voltage that is smooth as fine silk. Excellent value A-Tier rated PSU
Cons: None
Overall Review: This PSU is so superior to the unit it replaced that even I was dumbfounded by the difference. I had been troubleshooting strange audio glitches and random shutdowns for a while when I finally decided that I needed a PSU with just a little more power than the 750W unit I was previously using. Once I booted the system with the HX850 all the issues I had previously disappeared completely. As it turned out, the power from the old PSU was very dirty and that was the source of my issues. Folks, DO NOT CHEAP OUT on your PSU! A quality PSU is the backbone of any PC and a cheap PSU can ruin everything and possibly even destroy an otherwise good computer. Recommend 100%
Very good value
Pros: Inexpensive Made from quality metal Sleek appearance, very clean Comes with fans
Cons: Not a lot of room for a 1000 PSU. It's a tight fit, but I managed to get it in there. However, if I ever need to add more connectors, I will be forced to completely remove the PSU to get to them.
Overall Review: This is an inexpensive case. But the quality you get is far above other inexpensive cases in the same price range. That makes this case a homerun grand-slam. I would recommend, but be aware of limited working space with larger PSU's.
For the money, its a good value
Sounds better than what I previously had. The sub is louder than needed and sounds best turned way down. At least that is how it works in the small space I'm using it in. In a larger space it may be perfect. It doesn't have that razor sharp high-end clarity some prefer. The midrange feels like it has a bit of a bump in the lower-midrange and a slight scoop in the upper-midrange. Again, this is my assessment within the space I'm using it in. If you are using an equalizer you can easily smooth everything out to your taste. I would consider the quality decent. Certainly a lot better than your typical generic superstore desktop speakers. I like how the volume controls can be easily moved to be placed on either the left or right speaker or placed in an independent location of your choice. That is a nice feature. I also like the subwoofer control being placed next the volume for easy adjustment. That feature is a must-have. I hate digging under my desk to find a subwoofer volume control on the back of a box in a dim or dark environment. Power used at idle is a little bit more than I feel is necessary. This implies the internal audio amplifier is not very efficient. For this reason, 4 eggs instead of 5. With a more efficient power amplifier and a bit more frequency tuning, this could easily be a 5 egg product all day everyday. However, for the money. This is certainly and outstanding product from one of the most trusted names in home audio.
I was really impressed with the quality
I expected to get a run-of-the-mill mid-tier keyboard. I received the nicest keyboard I've ever owned. This thing isn't some light plastic flim-flam keyboard. It's got some heft and weight to it. The keys feel amazing and the response to touch is better than anything I've ever used before. As a bonus, the lighting features you get from their app is incredible. This truly is a 100% programable lighting that can be either functional in a basic way or become super bling eye-candy if you want that. Honestly, I would still be happy if it didn't have lighting just because it feels and responds so good. The only CON is that now I won't ever be happy with anything less that this keyboard. I hope this company sticks around because I'm definitely purchasing more in the future.
DOA - Did receive refund
Item was DOA. Return and refund process took a about 10 or so business days. Was fully refunded without any hassle. PC Marketplace did the right thing, so I'm satisfied.
