GOOD SSD SATA III 6GB/s
Pros: Using ATTO HD BEnchmark software I've got speeds of 540mb for reading and 437mb for writting. My previous boot drive, a 320gb 7200rpm hard drive, has a 83mb writting speed and 85mb reading speed. So this new sata 3 6GB ssd is 5 times faster than my previous drive. Anyway, I can feel how my computer flyes. It has a 7.9 score on Windows Experience Index.
Cons: You will need to spend some time setting up this drive. If you want to achieve the best performance use a motherboard that natively supports SATA III 6GB/s. You will need to know how to tweak your BIOS in order to make this drive to work fine. It is not for newbies. Sorry to Intel fans, certain intel chipsets do not support this drive correctly making this drive to fail. Use Windows 7 SP1 for better results.
Overall Review: Just in case, I'm using a GIGABYTE 870A-UD3 rev 2.0 that natively supports sata 3 6GB/s.
Good Monitor But.... Not For Everyone.
Pros: Less than $80 dollars. 22 inch with 1080p. Nice design and very elegant. Display port cable included. Again, nice monitor for an OFFICE but not good for other advanced users because it has only 16ms response time. Action movies or games not running very smooth.
Cons: Display Port only. No mounting holes, no way to mount this monitor. Not very fast when playing action movies or games. Basically, I only buy it because it was cheap and looks good. My HD6670 video card works fine with it. I bet many many people will return this monitor because they did not read the specs before buying.
Overall Review: This monitor is not for everyone. Please read before you buy because it is DISPLAY PORT ONLY. There is no way to buy adapters or cables or whatever to make this monitor work with low cost computers. You either need to have a desktop with a video card that has natively display port or a laptop with an included display port connection.
It Worked on Dell Vostro 260
Pros: I bought this on sale with a special coupon. I'm planning to use its full potential later on. Now I have an old 4 year old Vostro 260 i5 2400 quadcore. It is working fine this 16GB RAm on my PC however at 1333MHZ 1.5v . It's ok. I tried on another computer with i7-4790k with Asrock z97 pro4 at 1.65v and XMP at 2400mhz it worked beautifully. So no complaints here.
Cons: First it didn't work No post. Then, It looked that only one memory at a time would work. Then I do what pros do, reset the memory controller by either resetting the BIOS settings or turning on the computer with no memories inside and waiting for the beep. I did the latter, then I turned on the computer with both memories it work flawlessly for a few days already. I ran memory test no problems. My motherboard supports only 1333mhz and 1.5v
Great Speakers
Pros: I always wanted to have these speakers. I have an Onkyo home theater 5.1. The sound was good but I wanted more details specially when listening to jazz, guitar solos or acoustic music. I replace the front right and left. These speakers deliver what I want. It fills the room beautifully. Sadly, I live in a coop building my neighbor downstairs is a cranky old man who stays at home all day I can't listen to these speakers at its full potential. I'm satisfied. A pretty good deal when they are on sale $129 each plus 10% off using Vme card and free shipping. Thanks newegg.
Cons: None
Overall Review: When I received these Speakers the Superintendent of the building looked at me in a skeptical way. These boxes are huge and a little bit heavy. At least I know they are well package. Thankfully the are not so big when I open it. The internal speakers dimensions are 37" H x 7" W x 12 1/16" D. The Weight (each): 31 lbs.
It works for Eyefinity Video Cards
Pros: I saw many reviews of this adapter, some of them telling you that it does not work. IT WORKS; however, you need to set it up correctly, if not, it is not going to work. You need to use the right cables(IMPORTANT). In my case I have a AMD 6670 videocard, it has a display port (a must for a 3 monitor set up), a DVI and a HDMI. This adapter was conected to the display port. That was my first monitor(display port to DVI). The second monitor was DVI(from video card) to VGA(old monitor). The third monitor(HDTV 40") was just a HDMI from video card to HDMI to TV.
Cons: It's a bit expensive to have a 3 monitor set up. It's not for everyone. Plus you need to have all cables and adapters ready.
Awesome
Pros: Great SSD. I have a 7.9 score on Windows 7 32 bits on my refurbished 17inch Acer Laptop with AMD A6 processor. Love it. It boots in 8 seconds. Acer laptop $300 + SSD $90 + HDD caddy for 2nd laptop hard drive $10.00 . I have a great computer for only $400.00. And my original 500gb I use it as a secondary hd. Awesome.
Cons: Are you kidding me?
Overall Review: Faster than OCZ agility 3 and vertex 3. No doubt about it.
