Fast, fun

Pros: Fast speed, vast menus. The body fits my [somewhat] large hands much better than the T2i. Cheaper than the 7D with almost all the features. 9 cross-style AF points beats the Rebel series but the 19 points of the 7D would have been nice... Low light performance from the stock lens is unbelievable (for an inexperienced user like me). ISO noise is quite manageable with anything at 1600 or less. Even 3200 is only mildly noisy. I almost never work greater than 3200, as the noise picks up severely at that point. Stock lens is quite good for general shooting. Zoom range is fantastic, and you can work around the distortion by use of the DPP software included. IS is quiet and works very well. AF is snappy and seemingly accurate. DPP software bundled with the camera is a great RAW processing software. I have PS Elements 9 which also does RAW editing and I use both for different reasons. 18MP Yay?
Cons: 18MP boo. OK, I'll clarify - you need good glass to get around the really great sensor. I am not a pro nor am I rich so it's stock glass for me. That said, still amazing. Flash is anemic. I haven't bought one as [again] I'm not rich but plan on it if you do much low-light shooting. The burst rate with RAW images fills the buffer FAST - plan on an expensive SD card. My class 6 Transc* 16GB card does not allow even 720p video capture - must go down to 480 to capture any amount of data. May be a defective card, though...haven't tried any other class 6 cards yet.
Overall Review: With the stock lens (18-135mm) I usually shoot at F8 and get crisp images. Just my experience. F16 & higher gets diffraction (fuzzy edges) in all my mid-cost lenses. Know that Av & Tv modes assume fill-style flash, so it will meter as if no flash was present. Expect long shutter speeds in Av in low light & flash. Set to Manual and set T=125 or 80 and your F=8 and you will be fine with the flash. I'm sure someone more experienced has a better setup but that has worked fine for me. As for movies, this is not a video camera. Well, at least for me. If I wish to capture movies I will probably buy a dedicated setup. I'm sure this camera is capable, but you must work or be quite talented to extract video that is worth anything. No [usable] AF during video means MF all the time, which may be easy for some...not me. I went from an S3 IS to this and the upgrade is staggering. It has made capturing images so much more fun, and I thought it was fun before.
Great Starter

Pros: Good starter kit. Bass is impressive, even in a 400 sq ft room. Gets you going with impressive clarity, so you can start watching movies the way they were meant to be heard. Music can range from good to lacking. Most classical is amazing. I closed my eyes and was immediately transported to a concert hall. Techno was also good. Defined highs mixed with powerful bass is what that music is all about. Rock...not so much...see cons for more info. If you can pick this up for cheap, you will be well rewarded.
Cons: I found the system to have very powerful highs and very powerful lows, but almost completely lacking in mid-range punch. The 2.5" woofers just don't push hard enough for a lot of songs in the rock genre. To make matters worse, the sub can't handle a higher crossover frequency to offset the lack of woofer punch.
Overall Review: Movies and electronic (techno etc) music sound fantastic on this system. Explosions hit hard, and speech comes across crystal clear. Turn on a rock song, though, and you will be left wondering why you don't even hear notes that hit hard on your car's stock speakers. I personally ended up getting some bookshelf speakers with 5.25" woofers for moderately cheap. Now music has the proper punch. In summary, if you purchase this system along with some more beefy bookshelf speakers, you'll be set. You can use the 2 spare Klipsch speakers as "presence" channels, giving you a nice 7.1 setup.
Quiet, nice

Pros: Quiet, fast, large.
Cons: It's not an SSD?
Overall Review: I didn't know how loud my old drive was until I threw this guy in. It is quiet while accessing data and seems to perform well overall.
Nice, good price

Pros: Small, light, pretty, fast.
Cons: No USB sheath...or whatever it's called...over the male end of the port, if that matters to you.
Overall Review: The fact that you can insert this both directions into a port is a negative, but I can get over it. The speeds are fast compared to my other drives, so I like that fact.
Close like baby's bottom...or so the saying goes.

Pros: Smooth skin! My lady loves the smooth skin, so I can't go wrong. Trimmer included works well. Cleaning method is easy. Irritation seems low. Also digital display is cool, so you can gauge when it will need a recharge, instead of it just being dead one day.
Cons: Ummm...expensive when not on sale, I guess.
Overall Review: I used to use a Nor***** from many years ago. I liked it so much I never wanted to risk the money for a new one. One day it died and this just so happened to be on sale a few days later. I got it and was immediately impressed, though the plastics seemed lighter in my hands. My fears of quality were erased after the first shave. I had forgotten what this smooth of a face felt like. Apparently so had my girlfriend...she immediately commented on the fact....impressive start for the little shaver. After using it nearly a month now I can gladly say I've had very little razor burn and my skin is smooth after every use. The neck area is still difficult to shave, but I've never had luck there, even with conventional razors. I can still get it smooth...just takes some more passes. Buy this if you want a close shave, especially when on sale!
Great

Pros: Weighted (yay!), 7 ports, was cheap, red paint job is hot.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: Great hub. I've grown weary of hubs due to my experiences in the past. They generally are of low quality, have low speed, so light they don't even sit on a desk, drop USB connections, or have some combination of all of these issues. This hub, however, passes all of my critiques with flying colors! Eleven eggs from me!
