slow performance and higher CPU usage

Kingston 60GB Mini-SATA (mSATA) Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SMS200S3/60G
Kingston 60GB Mini-SATA (mSATA) Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SMS200S3/60G

Pros: i installed the unit on my ThinkPadE430 last week. it took me a while to open the box. Once the unit is installed, it is easy to change the bios to boot from ssd and installed fresh OS - Windows 2008 R2, and still have the files from original rotate hard driver.

Cons: there is some performance issue. i watched the youtube from firefox. you will hear sound/video glitch every 3-5 seconds and feel the hot air expelled by the CPU fan. when install the OS, i extended the "System Reserved" partition to the whole SSD. This boot partition starting offset is 1,048,576 bytes - which is 256*4KB. So it is always 4K aligned and this is default. I did not change sector size, it seems the default is 512 bytes. the performance gets a little better after I moved the pagefile, all the temp folders, and firefox temp/history file to rotate disk. but user still could see the glitch about every 10 seconds, and feel the hot air. it seems the firefox's cpu usages also higher compare to the rotate disk. i guess, it might take longer time to complete the interrupt and the DPC routines for the SSD, which generate some heating and slow the disk operation.
