Great Gaming Laptop

Pros: Awesome performance. Geforce GTX 570M graphics and a great LED-backlit display. Quad-core/hyper-threaded i7. Steel Series keyboard is very durable and works very well. I have been able to run all of my games at the highest settings with the beta Nvidia 285.62 driver installed. The Dynaudio sound system produces the best sound I have ever heard, from a built-in sound system on a notebook! The Cinema Pro mode makes movies and games sound great! I also like the switch that turns the touch pad on and off, so you do not accidentally hit it while playing games.
Cons: Battery life is not great (I expected this, as this is a gaming machine, not a ultra-portable low-power laptop).
Overall Review: This laptop is full of hardware potential! In a price vs. hardware comparison (what you get for your money), this laptop has to be at the top. Quality hardware at a very competitive price.
I have had nothing but issues since buying this card more than a year ago

Pros: It is a 980
Cons: This card has had issues since the first day that I installed it. I have completely rebuilt my computer since having this card, so I know that it is the card that has issues. Also, I put it into my son's computer - same issues. When the display goes to sleep, sometimes, it cannot be brought out of sleep mode (no display and monitor is in sleep mode). A computer restart is required. When the computer is started up from being completely powered off, there is no display. Have tried different DisplayPort cables, including expensive ones, and nothing helps alleviate these display issues. Contacted EVGA for a new firmware. Installed the new firmware, which did not resolve the issues. Now the fans have stopped working completely. Even at 95 degrees Celsius, the fans do not spin at all. I submitted an RMA for this card now, but I am still thinking about just purchasing a new card from a different vendor, just so I do not have to deal with these issues anymore.
Overall Review: I would not recommend this card to my worst enemy! This will be my last EVGA card. I have been buying EVGA exclusively since I bought a brand-new EVGA 8800GT.
