Great motherboard even X48 is coming on the corner
Pros: Love this motherboard...At first , i thought it doesn't look as cool as other brand's MB.But it has lots of feature compare with the same price range of other X38s..The overclock setting is very good, easy ,simple..E6300 L2 revision(the worest) 435*7 in defult voltage run 18.79s in 1m super pi....the ESATAs are amazing...it offers a power connector so that you can connect a sata internal hard drive without opening your case!
Cons: The Temp of MB is a little high....stay in 48 degree C with 3 AC PWM 120 mm fans...
Overall Review: X48 and X38 are almost same....the only difference is the deflut FSB..
not for overclocking , high voltage
Pros: this memory looks cool...
Cons: It runs stable as its deafult, tired to run at 500 Mhz 5 5 5 15 at 2.2 v , no luck. I brought this pairs around 100 bucks half year ago...not recommened, price too high but not equal performance
Overall Review: I rather get a cheap cosair or ocz for stable running...no more Patriot
headache......Cry
Pros: The build quality and accessories look good
Cons: #1 :It's dead after 1.5 months usage. #2: it has issue when it was working. -It's so hard to get in BIOS (this isn't a problem with the my returned B2 same GD55), I have to keep pressing del key to enter BIOS........but if I did that, once I got in BIOS, it's BUGGY, the little windows will pop up to ask me if I want the auto opmizie setting or not. It's not fun because no matter how many times I pressed esc or NO, it still pop up !!!!!!!!!!This is serisouly ************* How could I solve it? well, I have to time it, press any other option before the next little windows pop up... This issue is okay, as long as this MB works....FIne. #3 Okay, whenever my system stucks due to GPU failed, I have to reboot it by resetting...*** headache again, because windows will ask you if u want to enter repair mode or normally enter windows 7........ The KEYBOARD won't WORK!!!......so I have to wait 30s to auto enter. I'm not sure if this is one of BIOS option, but it's not an issue
Overall Review: Continue... with my old B2 GD55. #4 my old B2 GD55 (returned ), the audio output port was DEAD!!!!!.........:(((((((((((( only 1 month and it was dead. I had to use the front panel's audio port. Serisouly, for such buggy MB......I wanna cry hard. I'm not a guy love to move my 30lbs computer case everyday , unscrew and unpull everything in order to pull the MB out for RMA. I know MSI will exchange this MB........but, it's a headache to do everything agian and again... The MSI MB gives me: Pain, headache, wasted load of time, unreliable, unfriendly. I'm going to RMA this one and order an ASUS MB . If anyone interestting in this MB, i will sell it for $80..... I'm typing these by my 3 years old ASUS X48 build, ^^, my ASUS MB rocks........
Not quiet, performance isn't good too
Pros: Expensive, give you an option to you spend your extra money on it
Cons: Not quiet, even it only has 1 fan ran at all. I also minmize the speed of fan. If you turn both fans on, it runs louder because the noise from airflow. Performance isn't good. My 2500k stays at 43+ C at stock speed with 1 fan on( lowest speed). load is about 61-67C, depends on the task. Sorry, I really expect more for a $65 CPU fan (before MIR)
Overall Review: I bought this one to replace XIGMETEK Dark Knight due to that one runs loud with stock fan. After I tried both of them, the XIGMETEK beat this "Jing" hard in term of heat transfer. THe XIGMETEK Dark Knight has much better transfer rate compare to this JING. I measure it by both run without any fans. The Dark Knight has 10 degree lower in first 10 mins. It's siginficant number to ask Thermaltek engineers work harder. the other way to compare it is more simple, Just touch the heatsink after u shut your computer down, the Dark Knight is much warmer compare to "Jing" which is a little warm Anyway, it's up to your choice. my buid: CPU: 2500k MB: P67 GD55
Mine doesn't run at advertised speed
Pros: idk
Cons: I'm not sure the MB issue or the memory issue. It only runs stable at 1333Mhz Even I manually set all voltage & timing, it won't boot at 1866 Mhz. It can boot in at 1600 Mhz but the MB will reset every times if the system is fresh start up. Overall, I think it's MB's issue. But MSI claim it's chipest or intel's issue. I sent a titcket to Corsair for 2 business day now, no reponse yet. Kinda slow in my opinion. I have been deal with other brands before, they used to reply in 1-2 business days.
Overall Review: My CPU is 2500k MB is MSI P67 GD55. PSU is 650W from OCZ Asus GTX 460 Not a happy custmor, since I paid premium price but don't run at premium speed.. Should just buy those cheap 1333Mhz set
super Air Flow ,Warnning, it's noisy!
Pros: Amazing air flow! When it's running at 1500 RPM, the temperture of my computer drop down from 41 to 33!. However, the noise level supposed to be 58 dB! It's not a joke. If you are looking for a super slient case fan. This one is not your choice!. But if you set this run at 1000 RPM, it's much more slient. Still more noiser than Scythe S-FLEX. But the air flow is still amazing while Scythe S-FLEX is not as good as this.
Cons: This company claim this fans only have 18 dB. It's a joke!. I ordered two, other is coming. maybe this one is deffective. I will update the review, if this fan is actually quite.
Overall Review: Q9400 with asus slien kinght( this one is really silent!)
