Good dual core upgrade
Pros: This processor is basically a core 2 duo with some of it's L2 cache disabled. For everyday use it gets all of the core 2's performance for half the price
Cons: Doesn't cook bacon?
Overall Review: I use this in my home theater pc. It can play a 1080p blu-ray quality movie without even trying.
Gets the job done
Pros: 220mm fan means it can move a lot of air without making a lot of noise. Can run off of 1 USB port, but it is recommended to use two if you plan on using the built in 3 port USB hub.
Cons: Size. It is a little larger than my 15 inch laptop. not the most comfortable thing to have on your lap, but is a whole lot better than a laptop running at 80 degrees.
Overall Review: I have a 1st gen core i7 and an ati radeon hd 4670 in my laptop, so it can get pretty hot pretty quick. I've noticed that it keeps my laptop at least 2-3 degrees cooler under heavy load (about 70 degrees C). However, my cpu drops back down to idle temperature in seconds (about 48 degrees C) as apposed to about several minutes without it, and my laptop's exterior stays cool to the touch, even under heavy load.
Great sound, better price
Pros: Dialogue comes through crisp and clear. Includes rubber pads to help reduce vibration. Cherry cabinet looks as good as the speaker sounds :)
Cons: It is a fairly large center channel speaker (about 18 inches wide). Not a con for me, but some might have tighter space restrictions.
