Pros: Great product, as all of the reviews show. It does its job and installs well. But please see my other thoughts regarding support for a noisy fan.

Overall Review: I installed one of these units in a system I built for my wife and it has worked perfectly for over two years. So I installed another unit in a system I recently built for myself. After a few weeks, the fan began to make loud, worrisome, intermittent noises. I contacted Cooler Master's support for a replacement, which they eventually provided, but only after jumping through several hoops: (1) Waiting for their response to my initial request, (2) Executing an involved form to submit the request, (3) Waiting several days for approval of the request (4) Packaging and mailing the defective fan (at my expense), (5) Waiting for them to decide whether or not the fan was truly defective (6) Dealing with frustration over their inaccessible response which required some sort of undefined code in order to access it on their web site and then (7) finally receiving a replacement more than a month after my original inquiry. To top it all off, the replacement has also started to rattle at boot up. If I hadn't had extra fans on hand, I would have been without my computer for a month. I'm not going through this again - I'll just replace the fan myself.

Pros: The software has the usual options for shutting down, self test, etc. and in addition has a feature I haven't seen before. It tells you how much battery life you have at your current power consumption in the event of a power loss.

Cons: The software was particular about the USB port connecting the unit. I have a pcie card with extra usb3 ports and the software was unable to detect the unit and install itself from there.

Overall Review: I would recommend the unit, especially at the sale price, if it was adequate for your system.

Pros: On the plus side: Very substantial construction (I am a heavy person), Grab bar at the top (I am elderly and have very little sense of balance), Tool tray at the top, and Folds away nicely.

Cons: The top step is notched below so that it locks onto the horizontal crossbar beneath it, thereby securing the ladder in the open position. Unfortunately there is a misalignment of my notches and the step won't seat. I have contacted the seller and am awaiting a response. LATER: I got their response, which was a denial that there was any problem. I fixed the notches myself in thirty minutes with a Dremel tool.

Overall Review: I would recommend this, assuming it is not flawed as mine was.

Pros: Clear instructions, easy install, works in Windows 10. Installed driver using Windows compatibility mode for Windows 7. Does not require unusual hardware, just a sata power connector. I was able to eliminate an external usb hub. And, what a buy at $1.99!

Cons: I don't see that it needs any improvements. It does what it does.

Had this delivered to my daughter for her three cats. Prompt delivery, good condition and as described. I recommend this product and this seller.
