GIGABYTE Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card GV-R787OC-2GD
GIGABYTE Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card GV-R787OC-2GD

Pros: This card has been nothing less than a beast that's out in the woods looking for something to eat!! In other words, this card is just fantastic. It runs every game I have thrown at it on max graphics and hasn't hesitated even once to give me its best!

Cons: No cons except the card is massive. It fit in my Mid sized case, but it had me a little nervous when it came time to install it! It should fit in most mid-size cases just fine.

Most Critical Review

I'm sure it's awesome!

CORSAIR RM Series RM1000 1000 W ATX12V v2.4 and EPS 2.92 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply
CORSAIR RM Series RM1000 1000 W ATX12V v2.4 and EPS 2.92 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: I bet this thing is awesome and extremely quiet. It's fully modular, which is awesome for cable management.

Cons: Mine was DOA. I finished my PC build, went to power it on, and all I heard was a "click" in the power supply. I tried a few things to debunk the possibility of it being anything else. The next day I took it to work and we tried a few more times with the same results. My boss has a PSU power tester, so we hooked that up to the power supply to see if the fan would spin/get power. All of a sudden the PSU just began to billow with smoke!! Turned into a smoke machine. Already have the RMA in progress. Shipping it back today.

Overall Review: Went to best buy and picked up a Thermaltake PSU, popped it in the case, hooked up the wires, and it booted up like a champ!

No problems!

Microsoft Windows 8 Professional Upgrade
Microsoft Windows 8 Professional Upgrade

Pros: Don't know what all the griping is about, but I enjoy it. It runs very smoothly on my new gaming rig I built. It's not a pain in any way and anyone who doesn't like it most likely doesn't because they have issues with change and different things. But i think it's fantastic! The tiles make sense because it's supposed to be touch screen friendly. No, there isn't a "Start" button on the desktop anymore, but all you have to do is put your mouse in the bottom left hand corner and right click and you can navigate to anywhere just as easily as you could with windows 7. Cool stuff :)

Cons: No complaints! :D

Overall Review: Buy this product if you don't have a problem with a little change in the way things are laid out!
