Very bright lights

Rosewill RLFL-11002 3W 220 Lumen Cree LED Aluminum Flashlight w/ Bicycle Bracket
Rosewill RLFL-11002 3W 220 Lumen Cree LED Aluminum Flashlight w/ Bicycle Bracket

Pros: Bright even light pattern, zoom lens, flashing mode, easy to remove from bracket

Cons: Handle bar bracket difficult to install/uninstall

Overall Review: Got two of these lights on sale. WAY cheaper than the typical headlights in bike shops. These 3 watt LEDs are super bright, but more importantly, very uniform light distribution which is important for seeing the road at night. The light also has a zoom that can shrink the light pattern to a small dot. This is helpful if you need to use it in flash mode to attract attention from cars. Oh the flash mode isn't mentioned in the description but it's there. Very nice feature to save on batteries. Overall quality seems good too. The handle bar bracket took a few minutes to install, but it's a minor inconvenience. This light is well worth the money for riders on a budget. I haven't owned it long enough to evaluate durability, but if something breaks, I'll be back to revise my review for sure. But for now, this thing definitely gets 5 eggs.

Looks good, but durability issues

Outdoor Security LED Motion-Activated Solar Light Silver
Outdoor Security LED Motion-Activated Solar Light Silver

Pros: - Looks good - Bright enough - 2 stage brightness - Motion control - Easy to hang

Cons: - 1 out of 2 is broken after 1 month of use - No moisture sealing around the housing

Overall Review: I bought 2 of these lights right before a big landscaping project, and I've been looking forward to using them. The project just finished and I've been using them for about 2-3 weeks now. They're very easy to install. I hung them on my front fence on either side of the gate. The dim setting stays on all night and looks pretty good as a dim glow to illuminate my front gate. As soon as someone approaches...maybe within 5 feet, the light brightens, and stays bright for about 30 seconds before going back to the dim glow. I like them a lot. Unfortunately, one is broken already. Both receive the same amount of sunlight everyday. One is working just fine. The other started to malfunction when the motion sensor would not change the light to the brighter setting. Soon after, it completely died. It's hard to tell if it's the battery that failed or the internal circuitry. Being an outdoor light, the housing doesn't have any seals protecting against water, dew, fog, moisture, etc. I don't know if that's what caused the failure or not. I'm in the RMA process with the seller now. Hopefully, I can exchange for a new one.

Great for a while, then died.

APEVIA FC-01 Multi Fan Speed Controller
APEVIA FC-01 Multi Fan Speed Controller

Pros: Works well when it worked. The pigtail controlled all three of my case fans together. My HTPC was dead silent at the low setting. Pretty easy to install and use.

Cons: Died after about 18 months. One day, the computer turned on, and all three fans were at maximum speed. Turning the knob didn't do anything. I don't know what happened and I can't open the assembly to see if anything was burnt out. The little assembly isn't designed to be opened. Maybe it overheats, but I don't know. 18 months is way too short no matter what it is. Pretty disappointed.
