Works well after installing drivers

Pros: - Small card - Has 20 pin connector to feed a pair of front panel USB ports. - Comes with SATA style power cable adapter
Cons: - Instructions are unclear.
Overall Review: This card works well as an economical method to add USB3 capability to an older computer. Regardless of the OS that you are using you MUST install the drivers for USB3 functionality to work properly. Without the drivers, the card SEEMS to work OK, but it does not, failing to mount hard drives. The drivers are signed and made by VIA, so they should be OK. The "19 pin" connector is actually a standard 20 pin USB expansion port, so it is very easy to add a front panel 3.5" adapter to get 4 USB3 ports out of the card directly.
Inexpensive and OK

Pros: - Cable long enough to reach motherboard or USB3 expansion card in most sized cases.
Cons: - Does not include a way to share space with an SSD.
Overall Review: I suggest a different choice if you are going to share the 3.5" space with an SSD. There are many front port panels that are dual purpose (USB-3 and SSD mount in one).
Meets both definitions of CHEAP

Pros: a) Low price b) Two 5 1/2 inch external bays
Cons: a) Low quality b) Motherboard standoff holes delicate c) Front panel not secure and really cheap looking.
Overall Review: The English language has two uses for the word 'cheap': - Low price - Low quality This case meets both definitions at the same time. The motherboard standoff holes are sharp and delicate, VERY easy to strip. The front panel has the qualities of a cheap plastic toy. The power switch is wobbly. The power supply hole is too big but the screw holes align properly. The layout for the cables is very tight, and with everything on top, the case ends up very top heavy. Unless you need a very cheap case by every definition, I suggest you spend $10 more and get something a little better... this really is bottom of the barrel.
Big and chunky, odd connector

Pros: - Fan with its own On/Off switch. - Power brick comes with multiple country plug adapters - Sturdy metal case. - Almost screwless. Case opens with 2 phillips screws, drive installation inside is screwless.
Cons: - Big case, that seems even bigger because it stands vertically. - Big issue for me is that the case uses a big square/rectangular USB-3 cable connector, similar to what you see on devices like printers and scanners. It may be more rugged, but it is a PIA to have what is essentially a non-standard connector. If you have your USB-3 cables connected to the back of your computer and other devices use the more common extended micro-USB plug, having to swap cables is a pain.
Overall Review: 5 stars for mechanical design. 3 stars for size 1 star for connector choice requiring what is essentially a special cable.
DO NOT BUY THIS CASE!

Pros: None
Cons: POwer supply wiring is a piece of bull manure.
Overall Review: Do not buy this case. You will regret it. The power supply has only ONE SATA power connector, on an ultra short cable. No adapters, no extenders. Barely reaches the hard drive and lays across the CPU fan. Destroyed my hard drive connector when I slightly raised the drive cage to move a wire, and the SATA power connector just ripped the darn drive connector to shreds. This case design is a piece of caca. Do not buy it unless you are stoooopid enough to do so after reading this.
