Pros: Great value if you are upgrading to win 7. Hardware is still decent for 2013. Great slim case, easy to get to everything. Includes Win 7 install disc should you have any problems.

Cons: Hard drive failed before win 7 updates were done. (minus 2 eggs) DVD drive in mine is read only, not RW as described. (minus 1 egg)

Overall Review: Windows warned that hard drive was failing before Win 7 updates were even done. Smart data shows failure. Tried to back up what was already on disc with another system since I had already activated and had most updates. Ended up with I/O failures on drive, so I guess I'll be doing a fresh install. This hard drive didn't last 2 hours, I fail to see how it passed even minimal testing to be OKed as a good refurb. Rest of the system seems fine, so not worth shipping back for the hard drive. Should still be a decent value after I find another drive. (add 1 egg back)

Pros: Size and the dual source (wall/USB) is great for travel. Charged camera batteries from a laptop on my last vacation.

Cons: Shows several of my batteries are "bad" by displaying a rapid blinking LED, but unplugging and plugging back in will eventually indicate good batteries and charge them. Most of my batteries are older so they may just be getting weak, but they should not be bad only "some" of the time. Minus one star.

Overall Review: The software for monitoring the charging on your computer had a security problem with Windows OS and has been removed from Energizers website. Minus one star for not being able to monitor charging as described.
