Not a MS fan boy but...

Microsoft Windows XP Professional X64 Edition with SP2B 1 Pack
Microsoft Windows XP Professional X64 Edition with SP2B 1 Pack

Pros: This version of "XP" is actually built off of the Window 2k3 build. It is super clean and eligent. As of writing this review there is no forced loser apps like WGA, MSN Messenger, etc. Everything is straight to the point. That alone makes your computer run faster. Haven't had one application that had a problem with this OS. The boot/load times are almost cut in half.

Cons: Like the previous reviewer was saying. This OS is 64bit. Wider bit path equals wider demands on RAM. CAN NOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH!!! You do not need SATA drive and in fact a lot of older SATA controllers are not supported as boot drives by XP x64. PATA works just fat and happy if you have the RAM. 1 GB at least to see a performance gain, 2GB is what I recommend. I am seriously conservative on this system. Only what is absolutely mandatory is installed on here and of course the games. My load size after clean boot is just under 500mb into RAM. Your gonna have to feed x64 RAM. Just the nature of the beast. Also do your home work on if your hardware has the drivers before buying. One major issue to watch out for is the same deal on Linux and that is wireless network and some gigabit wired network adapters.

Overall Review: I've been running XP x64 for a while now. If your looking for a good clean environment to run games and you got the right processor and gig or more of RAM, try it. We all know this is about as clean and simplified as 64 bit OS is going to go with MS. I want to play games not play Windows. BUT if you have installed themes and a zillion UI control applets. Save your cash and wait for Vista. FYI: It seems in the near future all OS's will be having driver issues for one reason or another and no one should just assume a peice of hardware will work for their OS or visa versa. Get used to researching hardware OS support before you buy now. You'll save on asprin on the possible bumpy road up ahead. Even MS is battening down the hatches for a predicted rough ride ahead. Seems what is currently happening with XP x64 not having driver support here and there is going to be a possible common issue. Look before you leap.

Microsoft Windows 8 Pro Pack - Product Key Card (no media)
Microsoft Windows 8 Pro Pack - Product Key Card (no media)

Pros: It's easier for touch screens.

Cons: I'm not a fan of the Metro interface. But whatever. Over time I'll get used to it I suppose. The huge problem I have is Microsoft's price points on all their licensing. Are they trying to price themselves out of business? $100 for standard Win8. $140 for Win8 Pro. Should be $50 and $70 in my opinion. It's not like your getting that much in Pro. But to really pee on the heads of business to insure that no one uses this junk in the work place they charge $100 to upgrade. $50 for their current price point seems more than fair. $30 for standard to pro would be if they were operating at my price point. Licensing gets even stranger when you get into the server market. All this makes selling Linux a whole lot easier. Linux is more compatible with older Windows software than Windows 8. I'm really not impressed that i'm going to have to req my boss to drop another $100 on every machine preinstalled with Win8 just so they can connect to a domain. In the year 2013 and Microsoft doesn't include this feature in their base product and still holds it for ransom.

Excellent thermal Paste!

Thermal Compound Paste 18W/mK 3g High Performance CPU Paste Thermal Paste Heatsink for GPU Processor and More
Thermal Compound Paste 18W/mK 3g High Performance CPU Paste Thermal Paste Heatsink for GPU Processor and More

Pros: It seems to be doing it's job and it spread easy with tools in the kit to make it easy.

Cons: Nothing.

Overall Review: Without being an expert with all the tools for measuring, benching, etc. it's hard to give a comparison perspective. But from the application side of things it was really easy to work with and the results are good. I would buy again.

Nice basic case.

Thermaltake V100 Perforated ATX Mid-Tower Chassis with One Pre-installed 120mm Fan and a Perforated Side Panel
Thermaltake V100 Perforated ATX Mid-Tower Chassis with One Pre-installed 120mm Fan and a Perforated Side Panel

Pros: One of the few cases that are out there that is suitable for work place office environment. Really good design with great air flow. Very light.

Cons: Light comes at the price tag of being a little bit thin, but it still exceeds in quality for the price tag.

Overall Review: If you need a case that is not a showy game rig that is not going to be tossed around like a football, this is the case for you. For the price tag it exceeded all expectations.

Great monitor at a great price!

GIGABYTE - G34WQC Advanced - 34" VA Curved Gaming Monitor - WQHD 3440x1440 - 144Hz - 1ms MPRT - AMD FreeSync Premium - HDMI, DP - Height Adjustable - Black
GIGABYTE - G34WQC Advanced - 34" VA Curved Gaming Monitor - WQHD 3440x1440 - 144Hz - 1ms MPRT - AMD FreeSync Premium - HDMI, DP - Height Adjustable - Black

Pros: I bought this with low expectations. It ended up replacing a $1000+ monitor on my gaming rig. The display is crisp, and colors are vivid. Refresh rates are quick, and the monitor is easy on the eyes.

Cons: When I first connected it, my audio routed into it and it's BAD. Very tinny. On my game rig I don't use audio from monitor and so it's not a part of my consideration of what a monitor should do. But if you need a monitor with audio, this is not the monitor you want.

Overall Review: For a gamer who is looking for a ultra wide wrapped monitor setup this is the monitor you should get. Just make sure you use a headset or some other speaker system.

Solid hub.

VAVA USB C Docking Station, 12-in-1 Type C Hub with Dual 4K HDMI, RJ45 Ethernet, 4 USB Ports, SD/TF Card Reader, PD USB-C Charging Port, Audio/Mic for MacBook / Pro / Air, Type C Windows Laptops

Pros: I bought this to work with a MS Surface. Absolutely no problem connecting and worked immediately out of the box. Has no problems charging Surface via USB and a phone at the same time. HDMI works flawlessly on a ultra wide at resolution at 3440x1440.

Cons: The power supply plugin on the front makes it awkward to place on the desk. Wish it was on the back.

Overall Review: Definitely recommend. I bought this for my mom and put it through its paces because I wasn't going to give her something that is not solid. It seriously impressed me, and I plan to replace my current hub with one of these because it works so well.

Right keyboard, wrong switches.

Ordered a keyboard with Cherry MX RED switches and got Cherry MX BLUE. So now when I'm gaming I can disturb my neighbors with the tactile sounds it makes. CLACK CLACK CLACK CLACK. I guess I'll pop the WASD keys out of my old keyboard with red but this sucks and not happy. Like other people reported this was sent as a gift from another online retailer. After reading those other reviews on this reseller... I'm just going to quit while I'm ahead. It was the right model/manufacture... just the wrong configuration which is better than what others have got. Count my blessing and move on. I do have a red switch keyboard so I can swap out the common used gamer keys... which might be cool. As a suggestion to others, I really wouldn't take a chance with buying from them. Like right now to get the keyboard with the right configuration I wanted I would have to contact online reseller X. AWKWARD! I have the gift receipt but this is just too WEIRD.

Good gamer PSU.

This is actually my 2nd Rosewill 1000 watt gamer PSU. Mostly why I use the big PSU is for a RAID. I really like them and will probably continue buying them. I've tried other brands when my original one died, they had a MUCH shorter life span and just bleh compared to the Rosewill's. :) Don't know what to say other than I personally like their 1000+ PSU's better than everyone else.
