ezDISK EZ370 USB 3.0 2.5 In. Hard Drive Enclosure - Support SATA I/II/III, Screwless Design (Tool Free) and Energy Saver
ezDISK EZ370 USB 3.0 2.5 In. Hard Drive Enclosure - Support SATA I/II/III, Screwless Design (Tool Free) and Energy Saver

Pros: That I've seen or purchased...sturdy ABS, love the hinge system vs the others I have to slide tops off. Quality all around and works great. Great packaging and presentation. Was Have expecting a "cheaper" device for the price. Very pleased!!

Cons: The only improvement I can recommend is that the USB 3.0 cable be a little thicker. My other ones have sturdy flat cables that are awkward in moving drives around. This cable is round, easier to work with and is not cheap feeling but have some concern for long term durability (though it almost sounds silly to say at this price point).

Overall Review: Website was not up when I tried to visit...I wasn't having a problem. no big deal, but could give customers or potential customer a bad first impression.

Seagate BarraCuda 7200.11 ST31000340AS 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive Bare Drive
Seagate BarraCuda 7200.11 ST31000340AS 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: Cheap - I've had an excellent history with Seagate

Cons: Drive has been throwing out errors since taken out of the box, Have run a number of good hard drive tools on the beast (including) Seagate's. They report errors then that the problems (bad sectors) have been repaired. New errors pop up every day or so. Impossible to trust the drive at all. Occasionally has gone "missing" so the system(s) can't see it.

Overall Review: Hard to believe that this drive has actually been refurbished. More likely a corporate system pull that has had little or no testing.
