I've Been Missing Out

Intel Core i7-2600K - Core i7 2nd Gen Sandy Bridge Quad-Core 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Intel HD Graphics 3000 Desktop Processor - BX80623I72600K
Intel Core i7-2600K - Core i7 2nd Gen Sandy Bridge Quad-Core 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Intel HD Graphics 3000 Desktop Processor - BX80623I72600K

Pros: I went from a Q6600 to this. I was waiting to build a computer but I decided to build a new one ahead of my own schedule and this was to be at the core. I hate myself for not having built sooner. I've been so behind..! This is supremely fast. It's very cool. It does everything anybody could want. I do a lot of multimedia production (videos, images, 3d animation). This processor directly increases my productivity (cut my render times by 75%).

Cons: None, besides the fact that I waited so long to get one.

Consistent Manufacturing

Fractal Design FD-A-TRAY-001 HDD Drive Tray Kit - Type-B for Define 7 Series and Compatible Fractal Design Cases - Black (2-pack)
Fractal Design FD-A-TRAY-001 HDD Drive Tray Kit - Type-B for Define 7 Series and Compatible Fractal Design Cases - Black (2-pack)

Pros: tight manufacturing tolerances well-made functional - it's a hard drive tray; there's not much to mess up

Overall Review: When I first bought the case, I was annoyed that it didn't have a sled for every single, available slot. That turned out to not be a problem. It makes the case more affordable and anybody who wants to fill every slot can do so by purchasing more trays.

Ironically a little warm

Rheosmart PCI 20W Fan Controller
Rheosmart PCI 20W Fan Controller

Pros: This keeps my always-on PC quiet without jeopardizing the health of the components. Software fan controllers may allow for low RPM inputs but often times, they just bottom-out and shut off the fan. Since this is a hardware controller, it will go continuously from zero to max.

Cons: If I were to employ this as something I touch constantly, I'd be upset with it. It gets very hot to the touch after just a short time of use. Since I "set it and forget it", I'm not really bothered by it.

Good successor

Logitech G500 Black Chrome 10 Buttons Dual-mode Scroll Wheel USB Wired Laser 5700 dpi Gaming Mouse
Logitech G500 Black Chrome 10 Buttons Dual-mode Scroll Wheel USB Wired Laser 5700 dpi Gaming Mouse

Pros: I used to have the Logitech G5 Laser mouse (blueish). That lasted a long time but as things tend to do, it wore out. The logical progression was to this mouse. I have zero regrets. I love toggling between discrete and continuous scrolling. You wouldn't think such a thing would be useful but uses crop in some unexpected places.

Cons: I'm afraid they're going to stop making corded mice. I might have to buy a few of these and shrink-wrap them for later use. :)

Quick and reliabale

HyperX 3K 2.5" 120GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) (Stand-Alone Drive) SH103S3/120G
HyperX 3K 2.5" 120GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) (Stand-Alone Drive) SH103S3/120G

Pros: This is pretty fast - certainly faster than any platter drive you can get (yes, even a Raptor). It outpaces my previous SSD (OCZ Solid 3). It's reliable, steady and consistent.

Cons: The missing 5th egg is because it leaves something to be desired. Although I noticed a performance boost over my previous SSD, I still felt like things weren't as quick as some of my friends' systems. It's relatively fast but still middle-of-the-pack.

This Could Be A Desk Fan

ZALMAN CNPS9500 AT 2 Ball CPU Cooling Fan/Heatsink
ZALMAN CNPS9500 AT 2 Ball CPU Cooling Fan/Heatsink

Pros: This thing is so quiet, I've had to look at my Logitech, backlit keyboard to determine whether or not my computer is powered on (if the monitor is off). When I render high res/poly 3d animations or when I'm converting video, the processor heats up and the fan accelerates. Even then - when I can hear it - it's still very quiet. This fan moves a lot of air (hence the title of this review). When it kicks into full speed, there's a noticeable vacuum on one side of the fan.

Cons: It's difficult to handle. The copper fins are very sensitive to pressure. I bent a few of them just removing the fan from the box. Fortunately, they're as easy to bend back into place as they are to bend out of place.

Overall Review: There's a reason this product has so many reviews. Buy it.

Low prices for equivalent goods.

I bought a dual M.2 PCIe card from them for $14 that everybody else was selling for $40. It's the exact same card and functions perfectly. It shipped from China and took about 10 days to arrive - longer than my typical 2 to 3 days - but that's worth the price difference. I highly recommend this seller.

Incredible radiator fans and lightning-fast shipping

I bought cheap fans at first. Then my loop kept getting saturated with heat. I finally spent real money on fans and I have no regrets. Going from cheap fans to these Noctua fans dropped my CPU's idle by 9°C. They shipped immediately and arrived 4 days ahead of schedule. I highly recommend Noctua products and Noctua as a seller!

Great SSDs

I've been using two ADATA SSDs in a 24/7 server in a RAID1 configuration for over two years. They haven't failed so far and their performance is excellent. This was the first time I bought directly from them. The price was right and the shipping was immediate. I won't hesitate to buy ADATA again.
