1st one DOA replacement OK.
Seagate U Series 9 ST3120025ACE 120GB IDE Ultra ATA100 / ATA-6 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive
Pros: Cheap price and works fine for a Linux box.
Cons: 1st one had IO errors and was not recognizable by Linux or Windows.
Overall Review: Newegg quickly processed my RMA and I had the replacement in my hands within a week of starting the RMA process.

wrong adapter plug

Pros: It works without the adapter as long as you don't have any devices that suck a lot of juice via USB. Fortunately I don't otherwise I would be sending it back.
Cons: Wrong adapter.

Great product for a low price

Pros: Works great and it is fast. Came with Nero and LightScribe software. No coasters so far.
Cons: Didn't come with a sound cable or IDE interface cable but I had some lying around so no big deal. Since it is an OEM I kinda expected that it wouldn't come with much so I still give it a 5.

Kingston 512MB Secure Digital (SD) Flash Card Model SD/512
Pros: Great price. Can't beat Kingston for quality memory. Bought it for my wife to go with the Lumix FZ5 that I got her for xmas. Works great.
