SAPPHIRE NITRO Radeon R9 Fury 100379NTOC+SR 4GB Working fine so far

SAPPHIRE NITRO Radeon R9 Fury 4GB HBM PCI Express 3.0 x16 TRI-X OC+ (UEFI) Video Card 100379NTOC+SR
SAPPHIRE NITRO Radeon R9 Fury 4GB HBM PCI Express 3.0 x16 TRI-X OC+ (UEFI) Video Card 100379NTOC+SR

Pros: Solid performer. No Coil Whine, fans @ 65 percent..runs at 51-53 degrees. I play unmodified Default BF1 Ultra Settings @ 1920x1080p. Upgraded from a GB HD7970 and an R9 280x.

Cons: Well As Crossfire/SLI support seems to be dead for newer games. I decided to upgrade. Unless things change I probably will stop buying two cards at a time. I used to always utilize two video cards. So unless Nvidia and or AMD can get these companies working on support. I think money will be lost in the long run.

Overall Review: As Enthusiast gamers pc modders like myself will find something else to spend our money on. I wanted two video cards but instead I bought a new Predator M.2 SSD. so my extra 425 didn't go to another card as it would have in the past. My case looks weaker without all the horspower under the hood. by why buy it if it won't be utilized? I definitely recommend this card. If I haven't updated this post. Then the card is still running fine and works like a charm. I read reviews just like anyone else. so an update like this helps me. so I hope it helps you. Definitely works along the same speed as the nvidia 980..in some games maybe better. Still not quite as fast s the 980TI but you won't need to spend the money either.

Great product until...

Sapphire Radeon NITRO+ RX 580 8GB GDDR5 PCI-E Dual HDMI / DVI-D / Dual DP w/ Backplate (UEFI), 100411NT+8GL
Sapphire Radeon NITRO+ RX 580 8GB GDDR5 PCI-E Dual HDMI / DVI-D / Dual DP w/ Backplate (UEFI), 100411NT+8GL

Pros: The card is great and worked as expected. I decided instead of building one big powerful gaming computer to build two. I wanted to be able to play games with one screen at 1080p. These 580 cards are perfect. Not overly large and really fit most cases with ease.

Cons: Little did I know how difficult it was going to be to find AMD video card and to top it all off. I turned my computer on and poof..Smoke...gamed for a few nights, so I know the card worked but now it won't even power cycle itself on. Going to have to RMA the card and figure out how that process works.I have taken the other RX 580 I bought and slipped it into the same system and it works. I know all the other components are fine from this simple test. The other card I have is the Radeon Nitro+. Like I said I do love my Sapphire cards. They don't come with many extras but the hardware is always a quality product. I have never had to do an RMA with a Sapphire card before. In fact I have nothing but good things to say about the Radeon Sapphire cards I have purchased in the past. I will update this post after I go through the process. Time to now go figure out how to do an RMA.

Overall Review: I do recommend Sapphire to all my friends already. I am a computer tech by trade. I do recommend many many products to my clients.

More than expected

MSI Radeon HD 6950 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity R6950 Twin Frozr II OC
MSI Radeon HD 6950 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity R6950 Twin Frozr II OC

Pros: Solid. Excellent cooling! More chrome than a Mac truck ;-). Love the pipes! Stay's cool. I was able to unlock the card. Took roughly 30 secs to get my shaders. Burned the card in at stock clocks and zero failures. The card is now set to 840 MHz GPU and 1325 MHz Mem. Will push the card higher as required. For now all games I am playing are at Ultra high settings using eyfinity 5760x1080 Res. Playing Dirt 3 (free with Purchase) Skyrim and BF3. Only using AMD Overdrive ATM within CCC. Put my fan solid at 70 percent. Not overly loud. Especially in comparison to the other 6 fans already making a racket within my case. So far I have no problem recommending this card. Also Newegg had the card to me in 3 days. #rd day it was in my hand. I like that :-).

Cons: No con's except, I did notice in all the unboxing video's online. The videocard had a nice protective plastic covering. Mine did not. Not sure if this means my card was used or refurbed. Or if they just don't add the protective layer anymore. I still feel it was a bit odd. Even the box itself didn't have any security tags which means the box could have been opened at some point without my knowledge. Definitely makes me wonder.
