The cable DOES WORK!

Gold HDTV HDMI to VGA HD15 3 RCA Adapter Cable 5ft 1.5M
Gold HDTV HDMI to VGA HD15 3 RCA Adapter Cable 5ft 1.5M

Pros: I feel compelled to write this review to counter all the low information reviews I've been seeing on these cables from people saying "It doesn't work" (on this cable and many others I've seen online) This is a straight through cable, pin for pin. It does not do any conversion in the middle. What this means is the signal that is coming out of the RCA and VGA connectors is the same that is coming out of the HDMI port. HDMI is a DIGITAL signal. Both rcA and vgA are ANALOG signals. The two do not talk the same language. This cable is meant for conversion from a HDMI port to RCA style connectors which are on a device that accepts Analog OR Digital signals through that connector and can process them internally. There are other devices that are required to change the signal from Digital to Analog to allow you to connect a HDMI device to an older device which uses Analog RCA connectors. Search Newegg for item #: 9SIA4V21VN5834. This is an example, however this is a cheap example, quality ones are a lot more money making the whole thing rather questionable as to whether it's worth going that route or not. Disclaimer, I have not bought this cable.

Good Little Package

Pros: This is a good little tent for 2 average sized adults. I am 5'8", 180 lbs, and I fit with my feet perpendicular to the door with a little room to spare. Might be tight for a 6 footer. The sleeping bags are meant for warm nights. I got this for me and my two young boys, and we all fit comfortably. (they love the pet doors, going to be sad when they are too big to fit) Stitching of all seams are well done. Typical mass production defect here and there, where the layering of the fabric didn't quite get fully stitched, but nothing you can't correct by hand, and doesn't make the tent unusable either. Seem stitching is sealed, and with the rain fly, makes tent shed water well. This is your average light duty tent, easy to setup by yourself and take down. 5 minutes up once you know how, 10 minutes down (mainly folding) and fairly easy to get back in the bag.

Cons: 1) Standard light duty (read useless) staking pegs. Get some aftermarket heavier duty ones and you'll be fine. 2) Very light material. It is serviceable and not like to rip easy, but if you drag the tent across the ground much with a sleeping bag in it, it will wear a hole through the bottom quickly.

Overall Review: I got this tent package from my employer as a reward for 5 years service. Under those conditions, it was a great deal, but I personally would be thinking twice about purchasing it myself for the price they want. Get the tent separately, and use the savings to get a heavier duty sleeping bag, or if you're looking for something heavier duty that will last longer than 5 years of regular, (4 times a month, 5 months out of the year) use and abuse, (depending on how well you take care of your things, if you don't, 5 years max) then you might wish to keep looking.

Would Buy Again, Does connect to AT&T DSL

D-Link DSL-2640B ADSL2/2+ Modem with Wireless Router 24Mbps Downstream, 3.5Mbps Upstream ADSL Port (RJ-11) 4 x 10/100 Ethernet Port (RJ-45) ADSL Standards: Multi-mode Full-rate ANSI T1.413 Issue 2 ITU-T G.992.1 (G.dmt) Annex A/C/I ITU-T

Pros: This DLS modem/router is relatively inexpensive, and provides more functionality than 90% or better of users will require. Simple to configure if you have any tech experience at all, and should allow anyone without that knowledge to configure it if you read the documentation. Has transmitting power to spare, and covers a 1500 sq/ft house, with excellent signal through 4 - 6inch drywall walls with only 50% transmitting power. Connected to AT&T DSL ISP. It did require a call to AT&T free tech connection support, however this turned out to be because AT&T did not provide all the information needed to connect in the letter they sent, and I had to get it from the Tech. No issues since initial configuration. This has been running for the past year and I've had no issues with it. I'll address the other reviews of excessive heat in the cons. If I had to purchase another modem/router, I would purchase another one of these, that's the best endorsement I can give it.

Cons: Heat can be an issue if you use default configuration. Default configuration has transmission power set to 100%. I mounted my unit to the wall with a gap of 1/4 inch to allow ventilation. I also wrapped the cords around the mounting screws under it which decreased ventilation a little. After a month of checking the unit for heat, I verified what most reviewers stated. This thing gets hot. Hotter than I think it should. However, I searched through the setup menus and found the ability to turn down the transmit power. (Advanced->Wireless->Advance Settings->Transmit Power(last option in list) After i turned the transmit power to 50%, I noticed no degradation in connectivity or signal strength, but i did notice a significant reduction in heat production. I just unmounted this unit in preparation for a move, and the wires I had wrapped under the unit melted into the unit's plastic case. Nothing stuck or ruined, but there are 1/64th" deep markings into the case. So it does get H

Overall Review: I put a year on this before writing a review so I could give useful information here. This unit will provide you with the home network you are looking for, for the best price out there. (as of 7/2010 that is) Mount the unit so that it has no obstruction to its ventilation, and not touching anything if you plan to use it at 100% transmission power, and you'll have no issues. Keep in mind, mass production means there are lemons out there. If you read of some units failing in a short time, that could have been a lemon. If you have one person say they got three and all three blew up, its usually because that person did the same thing to all three and it is something they are doing to ruin them, not the unit themselves.
