LOGISYS Computer PS480E12 480 W ATX12V Power Supply
LOGISYS Computer PS480E12 480 W ATX12V Power Supply

Pros: Stable power, cheap, plenty of connectors. I have had it for over a month and a half now with no problems at all.

Cons: None found yet.

Overall Review: I said that I would post after I had the power supply for a little while. I have put this power supply through the ringer. I re-install operating systems many times a day and have not turned this computer off in 3 weeks. Just understand that you have to have to look at the true power rating when buying a power supply. If your old power supply has gone bad, wonder why... Get a UPS that cleans and stabilizes the power coming into the power supply and you should not have any problems. Just like a good contractor does when they are estimating for building a house, estimate 20% over what you need. If you need 300 watts, look for at least 350 watts. You can find a power estimator at most power supply vendor websites, Logisys has one on their website. I have been in the computer industry for about 20 years. I started programming on Digital computers and remember fighting over the RGB monitors in the computer lab connected to 8086 and 8088 computers. Wow, am I old or what... ;)

High quality, low price

AOC 32" 720p 60Hz LCD HDTV
AOC 32" 720p 60Hz LCD HDTV

Pros: Superior picture quality, great color depth, easy setup, lots of connection points, great viewing angles (almost 180°)

Cons: None so far, does everything that I want it to and more.

Overall Review: It says 720P, but I am able to use it at a full 1080P. I have a HTPC hooked to this TV with a Blu-Ray player and am able to watch movies at 1080P. I also have a friend with a PS3 that has it working at 1080 as well. I did not buy my TV here, but it is the same model number.

Great enclosure

Antec MX-1 SATA USB2.0 & eSATA External Enclosure
Antec MX-1 SATA USB2.0 & eSATA External Enclosure

Pros: Great design, cooling fan, quiet, easy to install drive, drive is very secure, rubber grommets for shock noise reduction on drive. Light on the dim side (might be a negative).

Cons: USB a little on the slower side, but still bearable. On the expensive side. Light on the dim side (might be a positive).

Overall Review: Antec has a great name in computer cases, the enclosure has pretty good air flow, air is channeled in from the bottom, circulated around and over the drive and out the top. It is very attractive and functional, but others have it cheaper. I got mine for under fifty at an office supply place named after something that affixes papers together.

Seems stable

LOGISYS Computer PS480E12 480 W ATX12V Power Supply
LOGISYS Computer PS480E12 480 W ATX12V Power Supply

Pros: Good cooling, low price, SATA power.

Cons: Mis-leading 480W power rating, really 330. Not very well known name.

Overall Review: I knew that it had a 330W true power rating and use it on a system that requires only 300W. I ran it for 3 days without turning it off and it seems stable. I will return with a rating again in a few months. But I am happy with it as of now,

Good for the money

PNY Attaché 512MB Flash Drive (USB2.0 Portable) Model P-FD512U20-R
PNY Attaché 512MB Flash Drive (USB2.0 Portable) Model P-FD512U20-R

Pros: Great for the money, I have another PNY thumb drive, a 64M that I have put through the wash a few times. It still works great. Just let it dry completely before using it.

Cons: Others say that the case feels flimsy. That is not true, the part that feels flimsy is where the USB connector contacts the case. When I bought mine it wobbled a little bit.

Overall Review: Keep your reciept, I use mine throughout the day, plug and unplug it many times. I have not had any problems yet, but I will keep my reciept for any future returns. I use mine for email, so I rely on it greatly. I bought this one because it was cheap and I know the great reputation of the PNY name.

Excellent budget case

APEX TM-124-3 Beige Steel Micro ATX Mini Tower Computer Case ATX12V 300W Intel/AMD Listed Power Supply
APEX TM-124-3 Beige Steel Micro ATX Mini Tower Computer Case ATX12V 300W Intel/AMD Listed Power Supply

Comments: I ordered this case not knowing what to expect from it. When it arrived, I was very surprised. Easy to work with, sturdy and very well ventilated. Easily opened, only two thumb screws, and lots of room for a microATX case. I am running a DVDRW DL, Combo Drive, floppy/card reader, WD 80GB on a 3GHz, with 1GB. The power supply is handling it well.
