Product works but you may get a bad drive or have it fail.
Pros: Quiet Works Two different connection types Dual firewire ports to daisy chain more drives Great case and design, solid build
Cons: My first drive died after just 7 months. The company replaced it quickly and free of charge for me. These do tend to heat up quite a bit as there isnt any fan. Drive process light is BRIGHT...
Overall Review: As I said, my first died after just 7 months. The replacement has been working flawlessly for about 3 months now. I figured they had a cheap drive in there but it turns out it is a Western Digital Caviar Blue IDE Ultra (WD5000AAJB) in the case. After opening I also found you could unplug the LED from the board easily and so I did that as the light is extremely bright. The drive here on newegg sells at $70 which means they are charging around $40 for the case alone....
DO NOT BUY
Pros: It works...shortly
Cons: Constant drops and issues
Overall Review: We switched to comcast and they give you this router. Long story short, we've burned up 5 in 8 months of being a comcast customer! It will show the network on our list but connecting is not possible and any tech we've had come out has been stumped and has just replaced it for us. Either way, since switching back to a D-Link router, I've not had any issues at all. I would NEVER consider buying this router...even for $10.
Still working
Pros: Price, performance, easy of use, storage space
Cons: None
Overall Review: I ordered this from a local store (blue and yellow sign electronics place [wink]) over 1 year ago as they were crazy low in price. At this point, the thing is filled up and I'm ordering yet another! The drive was stable and rock solid for me...even did traveling on the road with it.
Worth the price
Pros: They sound ok, better than cheap cans, but the price seems fitting and they are light weight
Cons: They fail when it comes to conforming to your ears and also the sound is not great.
Overall Review: I was given these a while back to replace some really cheap cans I had for free to use with my laptop and although these are an improovement, I'd rather spend about the same amount and get the Sennheisher HD202 headphones as they sound a LOT better and are far easier to wear for a long period of time. These cans work for short times but the padding is not all that soft, and they don't conform to your ears as the pivot is one direction. Sound is not great but works. Overall, I'd suggest the HD202s before these as they are in the same price range.
Outstanding Card
Pros: Fast Read/Write speeds, Plenty of storage space at 8GB capacity, great build quality
Cons: none so far
Overall Review: I've gone though so many other brand cards and have had them fail or fall apart. So far, this one is going so much better...but it's only been a week! I get about 20Mb/Second speed transfer with my Kingston FCR-HS219 reader and my Canon Vixia HF-S100 has no issues with reading to it at full bit-rate settings. The quality seems good so far and the speed is more than enough for me. For the price, you CAN'T BEAT IT! I HIGHLY suggest this card to anyone in the market.
Great reader
Pros: Fast Read/write speeds, good build quality, SDHC support, plenty of slot types for all kinds of media, Windows 7 64-bit compatible.
Cons: Strange cord setup for the USB connection to the computer, short cord.
Overall Review: I got this with a few Transcend 6 class HCSD cards, (TS8GSDHC6) after having issues with PNY and Patriot brand cards. I think the build quality is great and all but I don't see the point in the sliding part of the reader....Nor should there be a standard full sized cable on the back but rather a port for something like a Mini USB. My only other thought is the USB cable that comes with it is quite thin and short so get yourself a longer one if you want to keep this on your desktop.
