Corsair does it again
Pros: -Cherry MX blues -Beautiful, its build quality must be touched to be appreciated. -Textured gaming keys are a nice touch -Programmable LEDs are just plain awesome -Media controls are great to have, I listen to music while im gaming quite often.
Cons: -Overclocks poorly
Overall Review: The cherry MX blues have a nice crisp feedback, personally I love it. I switched from cherry MX reds, I always felt they were too "mushy" Its also a rather noisy keyboard, so keep that in mind.
Alright flashlight
Pros: Rechargeable batteries. Slide focus
Cons: Nowhere near 5000 lumens. Thin aluminium build, okay for home use, but it wouldnt survive long at work.
Overall Review: 5000 lumens is a gross overstatement. I would have a hard time believing its over 1000.
Excellent value
Pros: Overclocks to 2.1ghz with almost no effort on my part. Idles at room temp, 39c under a full load. Very power efficent.
Cons: Has minor coil whine under a heavy OC, but only noticable in an entirely silent room, nothing worth docking an egg over.
Overall Review: Put your card on water and keep the warrenty intact, whats not to love? If your an open loop enthusiast, your hard pressed to find a better performance per dollar card.
Avoid this seller
Pros: - None
Cons: - Slow shipping -Arrived with dead batteries rendering it worthless.
Came from an fx 8350
Pros: Night and day upgrade fro the dated FX platform. No more savage frame rate dips in CPU intensive games. Your hard pressed to find anything that even stretches her legs.
Cons: No, It dosen't come with a stock heat sink. But if your looking at a K series I7 and don't have a proper cooling setup, then I have some real-estate I want to sell you.
Overall Review: Overclocks like a dream, 4.6 @ 1.24v. Has not seen over 57c on an open water loop. XMP was finicky until I updated BIOs. Just buy it already.....
The germans know their stuff, man.
Pros: -Super quiet, even spooled up to 100% -They look freaking awesome. -Build quality is excellent, great attention to detail, like and extra molex connector and sleeved cable.
Cons: "tool less" pins are joke.
Overall Review: I have 6 of these bad boys on a push/pull config on 360mm external radiator. They have a very concentrated air flow, so it makes them great for radiator applications. At 800 rpm, I can hear my HDD over the fans.
