ASUS ROG Swift 27" 1440P Gaming Monitor (PG279Q) - QHD (2560 x 1440), IPS, 165Hz (Supports 144Hz), G-SYNC, Eye Care, DisplayPort, Adjustable Ergonomic
ASUS ROG Swift 27" 1440P Gaming Monitor (PG279Q) - QHD (2560 x 1440), IPS, 165Hz (Supports 144Hz), G-SYNC, Eye Care, DisplayPort, Adjustable Ergonomic

Pros: -Minimal BLB, cant even notice it while playing a game like Bioshock if unless I deliberately look for it, does not warrant a return to Newegg in the slightest. -Normal IPS glow. Again, is not a bug deal and it is just what you get with this technology. -G-Sync, simply incredible, have not noticed a single screen tear and while you do still see rapid drops in FPS, it is butter smooth and much more pleasing to the eyes. Totally worth the extra $$$. 2k resolution, you don't need a monster of a card to push out even BF1 at decent settings, at 2560x1440, you don't even really have to have AA on. -144hz from 60hz is black and white, games like Overwatch and Rainbow 6 Siege where some twitch reaction-time is necessary looks and feels so much better. -Design is also amazing, not too "gamery" you can turn off LED's and looks like a normal monitor, the bezel is phenomenal as well, I couldn't quite understand when people said the slim bezel makes you feel more immersed but now I know, it makes the screen look that much larger. -OSD is great with the addition of the joystick, still takes getting used to but not frustrating.

Cons: Sucks playing monitor roulette but I got a golden one first try but that is just how it is with LED monitors.

Overall Review: I've had friends play on this and immediately want to purchase one themselves.

NZXT Guardian

NZXT Guardian 921RB 921RB-001-BL Blue LED SECC Steel / ABS Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
NZXT Guardian 921RB 921RB-001-BL Blue LED SECC Steel / ABS Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: The body is actually made of the Steel, except for the front, which is some type of plastic. It's somewhat lightweight, for a mid-tower. Side fan provides some extra breathing room. The expansion slots and HDD bays are very easy to manage, probably one of my favorite styles.

Cons: Well within 3 days of usage, the font LED with temps burned out. The fans are very loud, even at 40%. the front glossy cover and the side panel can are magnets to smudges and scuffs. But that shouldn't be a problem for most people. However, when you flip open the front panel it get very dusty, very fast. Again, this shouldn't be a problem for most people. Last thing, the front two USB ports are very loose, like when i plug in my phone charger the usb hangs out 1/4 the way. It scares me that one accidental bump might break the actual output or input connection. Might just be my model.

Overall Review: With these pros and cons listed, well not really listed, is an awesome case if you are just starting out. If you can buy it used or cheaper, go for it.

Pros: It does its job, showing up in BIOS at advertised speeds. It works, looks sexy and hasn't caused headaches.

Cons: You kidding? You need 16GB DDR4 DIMM for your system? Buy it already!

MSI Z270 GAMING M7 LGA 1151 Intel Z270 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 ATX Intel Motherboards

Pros: This board is just great all around. Tons of features, MSI's Click BIOS gets better every iteration. It feels amazing and looks even sexier, went for an all black build, the only color being LED and it is perfect. Features that will benefit a user for whatever their needs are.

Cons: The only gripe I have is the lack of color choice when it comes to LED's, but the one that are available look amazing.

SAPPHIRE Radeon R9 270X 4GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 Video Card (Dual-X Edition) 100364-4GL
SAPPHIRE Radeon R9 270X 4GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 Video Card (Dual-X Edition) 100364-4GL

Pros: Everything, it stays cool, runs my games very well.

Cons: On arrival the HDMI port was blocked by a bent metal prong. Thankfully I had a spare DVI cable and I will have to say it is 10 times better anyway.
