Pros: The cards aesthetics are beautiful. Very quiet idle/load. The green geforce gtx logo is nice too. No coil whine here.
Other Thoughts: I came from from 2x GTX 580's in SLI. I ran some benchmarks between this single card and my two gtx 580's.
2x GTX 580's
Heaven: 1248 (maxed out settings)
1x GTX 780
Heaven: 1280 (maxed out settings)
My previous 580's were very loud but this 780 is so quiet. Even on extreme load, the fan stayed at the same speed. I was going to get the 770 but since that had the old gpu technology I decided to go for the 780. I think it's worth the extra bucks. Also when I was doing these benchmarks side by side on separate computers, you could really tell the difference between the graphics and colors on the 780 were much better.
Pros: Bluetooth Sync Button, On/Off switch, Laser, No dongle needed, Battery indicator light.
Other Thoughts: Synced up nicely with my Thinkpad X1 Carbon.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: 1. Coverage
2. Easy Setup
3. Clean WebUI
4. Beautiful Looking
5. No External Antennas
Cons: 1. Cannot disable WiFi SSID broadcast (Why remove the feature?)
2. Did not detect my xbox 360 in the dhcp table for some reason. I had to manually add it to the table using my xbox 360's mac address.
3. After changing some settings and hitting "Apply"...it seemed to take some time (was not connected to the internet during the setup). Once I connected it to the internet and went back in and made some more changes...it was very fast at saving the changes.
4. Router stopped working after about 1 hour. I was able to ping the router and ping the dns servers 220.127.116.11 yet was unable to surf...and no other applications that used internet worked. Did a factory reset with the same results.
Other Thoughts: Before using I always upgrade to the latest firmware (1.1.27). Another reviewer said they were forced to use the setup cd…that is untrue. I was able to setup this router in 10 minutes using the IP address.
With all the other reviewers having issues I didn't believe them. I got the router for myself and couldn't believe it the issues I was having. This is such a disappointing router and a waste of time. I cannot believe Cisco would put their name on this. RMA'ed back for a full refund and will not be purchasing a again.
I was coming from a DLink DIR-655 but my DIR-655 kept dropping internet connection whenever I would stream TV shows from veetle. I would have to power cycle every 15 minutes. Just started happening out of nowhere which is what lead me to buy this EA6500 and I wanted the new 802.11ac. After the troubles with this EA6500 I factory restored my DIR-655 and so far no internet disconnects. Looks like I will be sticking with my DIR-655 after all.
