I'm in LOVE!

Corsair P128 2.5" 128GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) CMFSSD-128GBG2D
Corsair P128 2.5" 128GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) CMFSSD-128GBG2D

Pros: First time moving to SSD. I have two of these in RAID 0. Both of them came already updated to the latest firmware (VBM19C1Q) to support TRIM. 2x Corsair P128's in RAID 0 Seq Read: 337.62 MB/s Seq Write: 367.83 MB/s Access Time Read: 0.117ms Access Time Write: 0.561ms I installed Windows 7 x64 bit in about 15 minutes. Anything I do...click on...it's just instant. From the time I see the BIOS screen till the time I see the windows logon screen it is 18 seconds. I came from 2x 74GB raptors and I LOVE not hearing the "head/arm" moving back and forth as it reads/writes. Man I love it....SILENT! SSD's F.T.M.F.W!!!

Cons: Too expensive but so worth it! *it still hurts my eyes looking at the price* They are just milking it hella. These things must honestly be cheap to make! Come on!!!

Overall Review: Tech support told me garbage collection (GC) is active in RAID but wasn't sure if TRIM was supported in RAID 0 and the only way to test would be to have two identical systems and do tons of reads/writes and see if performance goes down. Well I don't got the money for that! Case: Corsair Obsidian 800D PS: Corsair CMPSU-1000HX 1000W Mobo: EVGA 760 Classified CPU: Intel Core i7-920 CPU Cooler: Corsair Hydro H50 Mem: Mushkin Redline 6GB DDR3 1600 998691 Vid: 3x Asus Radeon HD 5870 HDD: 2x Corsair P128 SSD Raid 0 Sound Card: Asus Xonar D2X 7.1

Was an ok case, but now changing

Thermaltake SHARK VA7000BWA Black Aluminum ATX Full Tower Computer Case
Thermaltake SHARK VA7000BWA Black Aluminum ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: The first thing I liked about the case when I got it was the fact it wasn't that big. It is a tall case, but it wasn't long. That is the reason I bought it in the first place. Also, I bought it because I could not pick out a case that I liked between 3 I had to choose from, so I got this one.

Cons: After using the case for about 6 months now, there are some cons that I have. The first thing was the front door, it's annoying opening it and closing it. So I just took it off. Another thing is the hard drive bays. I do not like how the connections on the hard drive are towards the side of the case, because when you put the side panel on it will push on the power and sata connections. The air flow isn't that great either. There is only 1 fan in the front. Also it's hard to hide cables, so the cable management is not the greatest.

Overall Review: I've used the case for about 6 months now and it's been a average case. I decided to purchase the Thermaltake Armor Series VA8000BWS and see what luck that will bring me. I'm sure it will be a lot better case than the shark.

Would not buy.

Fellowes DS-1 Powershred DS-1 Cross-Cut Shredder
Fellowes DS-1 Powershred DS-1 Cross-Cut Shredder

Pros: It does what it's suppose to do.

Cons: 1. The basket gets full way too fast. 2. When you pull the basket out it gets all over the floor. There is no clear plastic keeping the small paper partials from getting all over the floor. Super annoying. Got to get the vacuum out every time I empty the basket.

Overall Review: I upgraded to a Ativa Vortex HS2000 micro cut shredder. I wish I would have purchased this one to begin with. Micro cut is the only way to go! It pulverizes the paper and gives you a lot more room. The basket is about double (8lbs) vs. the (4lbs). Also, there is clear plastic on the inside preventing little paper partials from falling over the floor.

Amazing

ASUS Xonar D2X 7.1 Channels 24-bit 192KHz PCI Express x1 Interface Sound Card
ASUS Xonar D2X 7.1 Channels 24-bit 192KHz PCI Express x1 Interface Sound Card

Pros: Sound quality is amazing. Screw onboard sound. Never using onboard sound ever again. Love the LEDs that light up. That was a great idea.

Cons: None

Overall Review: Wish it was a smaller card so it could fit in the 1x PCI-E slot with the EVGA E760 Classified Northbridge heatsink. Using a PCI-E x16 slot currently for it. Works fine.

Works great.

JetWay JM26GT4-LF AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 6100 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
JetWay JM26GT4-LF AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 6100 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Replaced a motherboard that fried with this one and worked like a charm. Popped it in and good to go.

Cons: None

Overall Review: Wish it had another IDE port but no biggy.

Mushkin Enhanced Redline 6GB (3 x 2GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model 998691
Mushkin Enhanced Redline 6GB (3 x 2GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model 998691

Pros: Mushkin's tech support was amazing. They are shipping me a new stick of ram 2nd Day Air for only 6 bucks extra with free return shipping back on the bad stick.

Cons: I forgot to mention in my first review that newegg shipped this memory to me in a padded envelope. I can't believe that newegg would ship it like this. Even the Mushkin customer support guy was upset about it. Newegg...you better start shipping that ram in a small box with peanuts like everything else.

Item Arrived

Originally, I thought I was being scammed because the tracking number said the package was delivered. This happened to me once elsewhere and the seller had the item drop shipped to a near by house located in the same city, state and zip code. So the tracking number shows it was "delivered" but what it doesn't show is the delivery address. After opening a case the seller they gave me a different tracking number and said it would be delivered 2 days later which it did. There was definitely some funny business going on. Either way, the item did arrive and it's exactly what I ordered. Be careful out there people.
