Pros: Overclocked the i7 4770k to 4ghz and on load runs at 29C! the semi rigid tubes were long enough so that I could mount the cooler outside of the case, which helped in cooling down other components. It did take a couple hours to mod the case but it was worth it.
Cons: plastic clips cracked down the middle (they have to be used too!). Poor design to use plastic. Still they work, 1 egg off for this.
Other Thoughts: I had a msi mobo fan header die that was powering the pump! There is no warning if this happens (there is a tiny blue light on the pump) Luckily my i74770k processor did not die with it. Do yourself a favor and buy a molex to 3 pin fan connector so that you bypass the mobo. Also, get yourself some locktight to put on the mounting bolts for the pump, there are vibrations that I worry, over time, will loosen the pump off of the processor.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Loaded windows fine, and auto overclocked my 4770k automatically to 4ghz without a hitch. And with the cooler master 120v all in one water cooler I was able to achieve 29c at load!
Cons: After doing the MSI live update it can potentially fry your processor. Doing the update turned off the fan header to the motherboard and therefore turned off the watercooling pump to my processor heat sync. Also, this created multiple shared gpu errors and posting problems. The update bricked the motherboard and rendered it incapable of resetting the bios. The motherboard shipped with a missing usb 3.0 processing chip too. To my horror the i7-4770k processor sat as a paper weight for 1.5 months until I got the replacement back.
Other Thoughts: Hopefully this board will be functional withOUT an update. I do NOT recommend using live updates or the MSI website. I usually only buy gigabyte boards for my amd builds (over 300 builds and counting) and have rarely had any problems, but since I decided to go with the i7 4770k I thought it would be ok to get a mil spec mobo from msi. Boy, was I wrong, I asked for a refund but it was not in my cards, so I will not update this board and if the sound needs a driver I am just going to buy a separate sound card and that goes for the video card as well. Good luck to you builders and stay away from this board.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Rosewill RFA80L-R 80mm Red LED Case Fan
Pros: All four fans that I bought worked right out of the box. The extra molex connector made installation easy. There is a red glow from this fan.
Cons: At close inspection of the fan after 1 month you can see dust buildup. But some liquid air should blast it off, so it is really not a con.
Other Thoughts: Cheap sturdy fans that light up nicley = cool case! Pun intended. I bought 4 of them.READ FULL REVIEW
