Pretty solid PSU

Pros: Has met all of my needs and even gives me a little wiggle room for future upgrades. It was reasonably priced when I got it during Black Friday and I really like the fact that it is modular
Cons: Had this weird ticking noise that was really annoying initially but I discovered that the fan wasn't seated fully from the manufacturer. Just pressed down on it with the handle of a butter knife (while it was unplugged mind you) and that took care of it so no egg deduction!
Cheap but ehh

Pros: Was pretty cheap and easy to install
Cons: I used it once when installing Windows 7 and then maybe a couple of other times total and it just died after 5 months. Today it started randomly spinning up once every 3-5 minutes and now won't even open the tray. Kind of upset but at least it gives me an excuse to upgrade to a Blu-Ray player/writer. Just wish I could have this one as a spare though :(
Overall Review: Cheap but I guess you get what you pay for
Hopefully you don't get burned too :(

Pros: The most advanced APU on the market, hopefully going to use it in a SFF build where I'm gutting an Xbox 360 and using the case for the PC
Cons: I ordered it with their 3-day shipping and the package arrived in pristine condition (not a scratch on the shipping box). However when I opened that box I found a battered and torn AMD APU box what was torn along the bottom and side and dented along the side as well. I guess that this APU was either dropped or suffered some kind of impact in either the Newegg warehouse or on the AMD end. I can say that I was concerned about the state of the APU itself so I hurriedly open the box and pulled out the plastic APU container and sure enough there was one of the corners busted on the plastic where the APU's pins sat with the result being 3 bent pins at the point of impact and 2 more on the adjacent corner :(
Overall Review: I honestly don't know why this APU was shipped to me when it was obviously in such poor condition. If it happened on AMD's end then Newegg should have refused it based on the damage and if it happened in Newegg's warehouse then it should not have been sent to a customer. Plus with Neweggs CPU return policy they don't take back CPUs with broken/bent pins so you as a consumer is either left with trying to unbend them or just working some overtime to cover the cost of the thing. I think I've got them mostly bent back so I'm just waiting on the motherboard to arrive so I can test it and I'll update my review based off of the results of that.
