Does what I need
Pros: Allows me to switch computers with a double-click of the Scroll Lock key. I have a PS/2 keyboard, making this a great product for me.
Cons: My video cards and monitor are DVI, but this KVM is D-SUB. Windows seems to have a problem recognizing my monitor through the KVM and will randomly change to a lower resolution upon boot-up.
Overall Review: It doesn't support USB wireless mice, but I've heard wireless mice lose functionality with most KVMs.
Cheap
Pros: Low cost, 'back' button by your thumb
Cons: not the type of quality I expected from Microsoft after using their terrific Laser 6000, but what can you expect from a cheap OEM?
Great Drive
Pros: Fast and large. Great for media storage.
Cons: Doesn't come in a terabyte yet. Not as fast as a Raptor.
Overall Review: For SATA II, you must remove the jumper. All the drives in my media PC are Seagate 7200.10.
Great for ReadyBoost
Pros: Windows Vista requires speedy flash drives for ReadyBoost. This drive is as fast as they come.
Cons: none
Overall Review: Have definitely noticed applications running faster on my notebook. Recommended!
Love it
Pros: Affordable 3.5" enclosure supporting USB 2.0 and eSATA
Cons: none
Overall Review: Loved it so much I bought a second
Don't Buy!
Pros: Low cost
Cons: I should have suspected something when the driver disc it comes with was a 3-inch CD-R. Yes, they just burn it to a generic CD-R. Actually the brand name is in Chinese characters, which I can't read. Anyway, I'm running Vista and received BSODs with both the XP driver (which Windows preferred) and the Vista driver downloaded from Kingwin's site.
Overall Review: I would not have purchased it had I known they send it with a CD-R. Very sketchy! Couldn't tell you if the product works because it only creates BSODs. Will be RMA'd.
