This review is from: ASRock Z77 Extreme3 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: Price. No problems while it worked...
Cons: It's just over a year now since I bought this motherboard and it just died today. I've had other systems with what I thought were cheaper motherboards longer than this one that are still kicking, and I paid less for those!
Other Thoughts: I just received my GTX 770 in the mail today! I was excited to install it until I noticed my PC was off when I got home. I didn't remember turning it off so I went to turn it on and nothing. It's been a couple of hours of troubleshooting hoping it was just hardware that needed reseating. After swapping hardware with other working PC's, I've narrowed it down to this motherboard. I guess it got jealous of my new video card and committed suicide. I never overclocked. I've been reading the unacceptable replies from ASRock usually blaming the buyer for these motherboards not working, that alone is very bad customer service. I was going to buy another one of these to avoid driver problems and all, but after reading their replies, I've decided to buy from a different website and ASUS instead.
I know how to troubleshoot and tried different working hardware and removing the motherboard and clearing the CMOS, but nothing seems to work. This board is dead and I won't be buying ASRock again, even If I have to pay a little more for other brands.
This review is from: VALOR 1 DIN AM/FM/DVD Receiver with 3.5" TFT LCD Monitor
Pros: Price (159.99 at the time). TFT screen actually looks really nice and has very nice color. My wife was tired of having an in dash DVD player without a screen up front. She had to keep asking the kids when to press play on a movie or when to stop forwarding, or she had to set it up while sitting in the back before driving. Now, she can sit up front and know when to press play or when to forward/rewind a movie, and maybe even enjoy the movie herself, all while driving! yupee... The sound is actually impressive and it has tons of features. My wife absolutely loves it, and she usually criticizes everything I buy, or do, or say, or even how I look! Her and I agree this might be the only right thing I've done since we married 9 years ago. It was an easy set up, remember to connect the pink brake wire to the ground wire, it simply bypasses not being able to use it while driving (dumbest feature, who wants to watch DVD's while parked??).
Cons: It's a single DIN unit, but the face is a bit wide and it was a tricky fit in the kit I had for my vehicle, i couldnt use the thin black bracket/cover that goes around the face, but i decided not to hack it, just left it in place. Still looks good though.
Other Thoughts: I didnt mean to rhyme. Bought this with the Emerson 15.3 inch overhead monitor, perfect couple.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: EMERSONMOBILE Universal 15.3” Ceiling Mount TFT-LCD Monitor Model MT-2600
Pros: Price and size. A great combination of both. Couldn't find anything cheaper, or as cheap for this price. Excellent quality, adjustable color and contrast made it even better. Kids love it. Easy hook up. It replaced a 10.4 inch Audiovox that weighed as much as this thing. Of course looking at it from the sides doesn't give it the best view, but from inside the vehicle no one complains. The only people that will complain are probably trying to see it from another car outside. I live in Compton, so when I tell someone how much I paid they figure it was stolen. I have to convince them that it was bought retail from NEWEGG! Newegg has better prices than our local thugs who seem to be struggling as well given our current economic status.
Cons: People think I bought this stolen from the price I tell them I paid (219 at the time).
Other Thoughts: I bought this along with the Valor in dash DVD player with a built in 3.5 inch TFT, both work good together and have made my wife's mini van the preferred vehicle for travel.READ FULL REVIEW
