Pros: Great SSD one you get the firmware update from the website and update your drive.
Cons: I haven't updated my drive yet. I don't have a spare CD-R sitting around. Because of this, the drive has caused my OS to crash. It's only crashed once, but if you're going to buy this drive, make sure you update the firmware ASAP.
Other Thoughts: Other than that, the drive is pretty cheap and very effective. Just update it and you'll be fine. :)READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Acer XG270HU 27" 1ms 144HZ WQHD HDMI DisplayPort Adaptive-Sync (Free Sync) Widescreen LED Backlight LCD Monitor Edge-to-Edge Frameless Design, 350 cd/m2 ACM 100,000,000:1 (1000:1) Built-in Speakers
Pros: Everything worked exactly like it was supposed to. No hassle, easy to set up. The colors and settings are perfect right out of the box.
Cons: One dead pixel was found. Dead pixels are a HUGE bummer but being that there is only one, not a huge deal. I really don't mind. Had there been more, then I would have probably been more upset. No VESA mount support.
I don't like the color scheme at all. It isn't red, it's copper. Even if it had been red, I still wouldn't like it. I bought this monitor because it's the cheapest 144Hz 1440P monitor when I bought it.
The monitor stand is REALLY wobbly. It has never fallen over or even gotten close to it, but even as I'm typing this, it's wobbling.
Not having VESA mounting points on a monitor of this scope and size is RIDICULOUS.
Also, if you think the thin bezel is cool, wait until you try to put a webcam on top of it.
Other Thoughts: Really great monitor for gaming. Beautiful colors on screen, wonderful refresh rate and perfect resolution.
I would buy something else though. No Vesa mount, Poor color scheme, poorly designed stand, thin bezel and questionable QC make this monitor make me feel like I should have waited to buy a better one.
What burns me the most is that if you're going to make a monitor with a bad stand, at least include VESA support. And if you're going to put thin bezels on your monitor with the idea that people will probably have 3 in a surround config, PUT VESA ON IT.
This review is from: Rosewill RHTS-8206 - USB Connector 5.1-Channel Vibrating Gaming Headset
Pros: These things have GREAT sound! They come with an equalizer, which is a must have! They have a motor in each earcup that vibrates, this doesnt sound like a good thing but its AMAZING. I wish every headset vibrated. It adds a lot of depth to the sound. I LOVE IT. The headband is VERY comfortable. I got these for around $45.00. Even for $80.00 these headphones would be worth it. Great drivers, Great software, Great headset. The software comes with some perks too. The software has an environment changer that makes it sound like your in a bathroom, in a concert hall, under water, and at a music pub. Also you can change the pitch of your voice, with many other effects. The software for these headphones is the best software I've ever had on any headphones. You really can't beat the sound customization. If you like bass, pump up the bass, it sounds great! If you like more treble, go ahead and change that too. Adjust the sound the way YOU like it. The headphones are pretty sturdy too and feature a detachable, adjustable mic. By adjustable I mean that it is VERY flexible and will keep any form you bend it in. Overall, this is almost the perfect headset, except for 2 flaws...
Cons: After about 6 months of use, the wire that leads into the earcup started to break. The mic would cut in and out as I wiggled the cord. Eventually it got to the point that the entire headset would randomly lose power. Unplugging the headset and plugging it back in would bring it back to life. Shortly after that I could no longer hear the characters in my video games. I assume the wire to the center drivers went out. I can't be sure though.
Secondly, the earcups are small for my big ears, causing a lot of pain after long periods of usage (2-3 hours straight)
Other Thoughts: Over all this is a GREAT headset. The problem I had with the headset didn't seem to happen to too many people. For the price, this is the best headset you can get your hands on.
I just bought a Plantronics Gamecom 780 headset and the Rosewill headset sounds SOOO MUCH BETTER.
So do yourself a solid and buy this headset.
