Reasonably priced smallserver
Lenovo ThinkServer TD340 Tower Server System Intel Xeon E5-2403 v2 70B5001TUX
Pros: Cost effective server with a good amount of connectivity available
Cons: Room for 4 disks but disk trays must be purchased separately. The disk mousing had blanks that looked like they would cost as much as usable trays.
Overall Review: Nice option when a small server is needed

Best gigabit switch value out there
NETGEAR 24-Port Gigabit Rackmount Smart Managed Plus Switch, ProSAFE Lifetime Protection (JGS524E)
Pros: Web interface easy to use Ability to to QOS and VLANs easily Incredible throughput - the best I have found in this class
Cons: None
Overall Review: You can't beat this switch's capabilities and at the price, I cannot imagine getting any other gigabit switch unless you need 10 gig switching.
