Works great

Turtle Beach Ear Force X42 Premium Wireless Gaming Headset with Dolby Surround Sound for Xbox 360
Turtle Beach Ear Force X42 Premium Wireless Gaming Headset with Dolby Surround Sound for Xbox 360

Pros: Great sound, works very well with my computer, (special setup listed bellow required) Can actually hear the steam that is shown on the character selection screen for the Sith Warrior in Star Wars the Old Republic, Bluray movies sound much better.

Cons: Rechargeable batteries are a must, and I don't care if you have to spend $50 on that, you will save a lot of money. The cups are a little uncomfortable, but it takes a while for it to be a pain.

Overall Review: If you have a sound card that supports Dolby Digital live, you can connect the receiver to your computer with the included optical cable. If your sound card doesn't support DDL, but it does have an SPDIF output on it, bluray movies will output the DDL sound when played, but games will just use stereo sound. If you want to be able to use the microphone, you need to get a 2.5mm Female to 3.5mm Male adapter. That will let you connect the included chat cable to your computer. I have heard that if you connect the wired xbox360 controller to your computer, it will eliminate the need for that adapter, but I haven't tried that out yet. As I mentioned in the cons section, rechargeable batteries are a must, I went through 20 batteries in the first week before my parents were able to drop off my charger and batteries that I left with them when I was living at home.
