Worked out of the box with Dell and Windows 7

SUNIX USB4300NS USB3.0 4-port PCI Express Host Controller with SATA Power Connector
SUNIX USB4300NS USB3.0 4-port PCI Express Host Controller with SATA Power Connector

Pros: A lot of these cards don't work and when a client ask me for one I just cringed at the time it would take to cycle through cheap cards. Read another IT guy took a chance on this one and it was a winner for him. I agree. Just make sure you have an extra 15 pin sata power extension lying around just in case.

Cons: This card requires a 15 pin sata power connection so if your powersupply can't reach it than you're gonna be off to Fry's. Order a 15 pin SATA power extension cable just to be on the safe side. They could have included one in the box. PCI slotted devices are rare that require this to chances are you power supply cables won't reach in a stock Dell or HP desktop.

Overall Review: Its better than the rest of them at newegg.

Client likes it.

HP Smartbuy LV2311 Black 23" 5ms Widescreen LED-Backlit LCD Monitor
HP Smartbuy LV2311 Black 23" 5ms Widescreen LED-Backlit LCD Monitor

Pros: Its pretty wide so you can have a lot of realestate for cheap.

Cons: Lightest monitor I ever setup. I setup maybe 300 a year. That can't be good for long life.

Overall Review: I don't have any problems with a cheap monitor that works.

Works for driving 2560 x 1440 resolution monitors

EVGA GeForce GT 640 2GB DDR3 PCI Express 3.0 x16 Graphics Card 02G-P4-2645-KR
EVGA GeForce GT 640 2GB DDR3 PCI Express 3.0 x16 Graphics Card 02G-P4-2645-KR

Pros: Has a DVI-D and a DVD-I dual port so that is good.

Cons: All the 2560 x 1440 monitors require DVI-D so good thing the other monitor can handle DVD-I and is lower resolution or this would be a useless card for me.

Overall Review: Couldn't find a cheaper card to run 2560 x1440 DVD-D and at least a DVD-I to run the other monitor.

Works for clear text for the older eyes amongst us

Acer B6 B276HULymiidprz Black 27" 6ms (GTG) IPS-Panel HDMI height&pivot adjustable Widescreen LED Backlight LCD Monitor 350 cd/m2 100,000,000:1 (1,000:1) w/speakers&USB3.0 Hub
Acer B6 B276HULymiidprz Black 27" 6ms (GTG) IPS-Panel HDMI height&pivot adjustable Widescreen LED Backlight LCD Monitor 350 cd/m2 100,000,000:1 (1,000:1) w/speakers&USB3.0 Hub

Pros: Came with DVI, display port, and RGB cable. Raises and tilts.

Cons: Needs a graphics card, your Windows box can't push highest rez on its own.

Overall Review: Cheapest hi res monitor you can get so you can read text at high resolution. Older eyes will love how clear the text is. Just remember to buy a video card that can do the DVI type that this monitor supports. Unless you are driving with a MAC your Windows can't push this to highest res. Older DVI cards and cables won't work. It has to be the latest DVI cables 9 (1 is bundled) and graphics card (dual in my case) which is another $100. Got the EVGA GT640 and it worked for this user
