Only works with DVI-HDTV200 ports
Pros: Works flawlessly when you have the correct type of connector on your video card.
Cons: Can damage video cards when plugged into non-DVI-HDTV200 ports.
Overall Review: You have to understand that this adaptor is not designed to plug into any of the following types of DVI ports: DVI-A DVI-D DVI-I Rather, it's designed to work with a DVI-HDTV200 port, which is a special variation of DVI port invented specifically by ATI to pass YPbPr colorspace signals. Component video is not normally available on a DVI-* port, but it IS available on a DVI-HDTV200 port on some of the normally unused pins on such a connector. BE CAREFUL.
