This Thing is a BEAST!
Pros: FAST card! I have not yet found a game that I cannot play at the max resolution of my monitor (1600x1200) with all features turned on and details on high.
Cons: Pricy on the real estate (takes up two slots on you mobo).
FREE GAMES? Oh Yeah!
Pros: FREE says all I need to here. Nice to have a couple of new games to try out the new card on.
Cons: Plugged the number into Steam, steam downloaded the games. That's as trouble-free as it gets. Obviously that means there's no cons.
Overall Review: I don't know why some seem to have had trouble. That certainly wasn't my experience.
Great Budget Performance RAM
Pros: No additional configuration required in an Asus M4A78LT-M. Windows 7 gives it a 7.3 rating. Attractive-looking RAM that came well-packaged.
Cons: What can I say, it works, that's enough to rate no cons iin my book
Overall Review: Slightly more expensive than non-heat riser equipped RAM makes this a no-brainier for me. Going to double up on it in the near future.
Inexpensive and works well
Pros: Easy setup. Had this up and running as soon as I was done with physically mounting it and it's peripherals. No BIOS configuration required, save for boot order. Nice feature set for the price.
Cons: None I have found.
Overall Review: I bought two of these as part of a super combo, to replace two aging PC's that really needed updating. It wasn't the exact setup I wanted, but the "bang for the buck" factor won out and I'm happy with the purchase. As always, the buying experience at NewEgg was smooth and pain-free.
There's a Reason I Buy Gigabyte First
Pros: Great Mobo. Easy setup, no hassling with settings or timings. It just works right out of the box. I bought this for a HTPC build and the integrated ATI 3200HD (HDMI) and optical audio out are perfect for this purpose. Using a full-ATX board gives me more expansion options, would I need them. As always, it is well-built and well laid-out. It has plenty of SATA 3.0 ports and more USB ports and headers than I'll ever use. Installation of Windows 7 was easy and all on-board devices work as they should. All-in-all, I'm VERY happy with this board and would recommend it to anyone.
Cons: None at all. It has more than I need, feature-wise and works flawlessly in my applications. Perfect execution my Gigabyte.
Great Case!
Pros: Good room for everything I mounted in the case. I was able to use a full ATX form-factor Mobo, which gives me more expansion options over micro ATX mobos. There is room for 4 HDDs, but the last two will block the side vents (not an issue for me). Great finish. Stylish enough to look good on your audio rack. Comes with a500W PS and can take full sized power supplies.
Cons: Power LED is BRIGHT. Could be used as a night light. Not a huge deal, but sometimes distracting. While the case finish is very nice, it also scratches VERY easily.
Overall Review: Not the best HTPC case by a long shot, but a good value for what you pay. It's perfectly functional and offers room for future expansion and cooling. It does what I need it to do very well.
