Pros: Easy to set up via the Web Interface. Compact and easy to install. Comes with a Print Server Manager software.

Cons: I could not get it to work correctly with the DYMO LabelWriter DUO which is two printers in one - a label and tape printer. However, I think that it would have worked if I had known the trick to doing it. To use this particular printer, you have to set the Label printer port to 9100 and the Tape printer port to 9102, and use the same IP address.

Pros: Very good user interface and the RAIDer program is a great quick launch of the interface. Reports on operating environment including the temps of the device and processor and each hard drive. Very powerful device in a compact package. Has full cloud features although we are not using those.

Cons: Basic configuration was easy but advanced not so easy. Support rep was very helpful and resolved all issues. Apparently Netgear is in the process of merging web account passwords with cloud access passwords. Until then, the launch of the cloud login would not discover the device.

Overall Review: This product does everything a more of what we needed it for. It has four network cards and when we were just using one, our network monitor was reporting that data flowing to this device was causing communication problems with other devices on the switch, even losing packets. If connecting to just one switch, I would recommend using multiple NICs and bonding ports together. Bonding 3 ports solved our switch issue.
