Good Value
Pros: For office work, these machines are a great value. Lenovo carefully organizes drivers on their website. Add a cheap SSD for great performance.
Cons: At the time of this review, the product cites Windows 7-64 bit, however media cites Windows 7-32 bit. Lenovo hardware can be slightly unusual, physically. I had to bend the mounting bracket last time I installed a network card in an M58 case.
Perfect!
Pros: Great driver, tested on Ubuntu Linux 10.4 & Windows XP. Flawless performance
Cons: none
Overall Review: Flawless performance at this price makes for an unbeatable product. For $12 it's worth keeping around as a backup. Works great on Linux!
Decent Machine for the price
Pros: Great price for a very decent core 2 duo system. Flies with XP on a solid state drive. Mine came with with an Intel 82566DM-2 network adapter built into the mainboard, which is apparently gigabit capable. Well organized, heavy, tool-less case. Quiet operation.
Cons: No installation media. I had to loosen the screws on the PCI-E network adapter I installed so that it would sit in the slot. Some device drivers were not obvious to identify, even though everything is available from the lenovo website. No PS2 connector.
Overall Review: I really wish this had come with installation media.
