Good for the money
Pros: Fast read, features endurawrite, etc.
Cons: slower write speeds (360Mbps vs 490Mbps) as compared to similarly priced intel SSDSCKJW240H601.
Overall Review: Initially an incredibly well priced product. Phison S10/PS3110 controller is no slouch, questionable better wear leveling than the Intel 530/535 (hence the slower writes). I've had no compatibility issues with this device in m.2 slots in SATA mode. Have bought several and will purchase more. I'll update if the Intel 535 or the Patriot falls out of the Raid1 set... Cheers. If you're seeking speed, and your system support M.2 in PCIEx4 mode (any gen 2 or gen 3) get the amazing Kingston HyperX Predator 240GB (of 480GB for even more speed), but for those stuck in SATA m.2, Patriot is plenty fast for nearly all users/uses.
scary bad sshd. get anything else
Pros: sshd was a tad faster than some other standard 500gb and 750gb drives.
Cons: Don't do it! two of three of these that I bought 90 days agon failed terribly. Lost all my data. Get an XT.
Overall Review: smart data hidden away - what the heck?
Scary bad SSHD. Go with something else.
Pros: SSHD should in theory help windows boot faster at some point(s).
Cons: Don't do it! I have had three of the four of these I bought fail terribly. Lost tons of data, on less than 3 months. :( Strongly recommend the XT instead.
Overall Review: Smart is disabled out of box, because?
