Good laptop for the price

Acer Laptop Aspire N3520 Quad-Core Processor 2.17GHz 4GB Memory 500GB HDD Intel HD Graphics 15.6" Non-Touch Screen Windows 8.1 64-bit E1-510-4487

Pros: I got this for my brother because his old Gateway (A three year old Intel i3) was falling apart. The main reason I chose this one is because of the quad-core Pentium. So far it seems to be doing very well. It performs as well as if not better than the old i3 and is half the price. Another nice thing is how thin and light it is. Although I'm not sure if this is really a pro because all laptops recently have been getting thin and light.

Cons: There are only three problems I have with this laptop. The first is the way the monitor is attached to the laptop. It looks like it's designed to fail just as it did on the old Gateway. The second is how flimsy it is. I know this is how they make it light, but I don't think this would hold up very well if it were to be used as a school laptop or something similar. The third problem is Windows 8. While it's better then I thought it would be, it's still worse than Windows 7.

Overall Review: It's a very good laptop for the price and I'm sure that with a little bit of care, it will last a few years.

EVGA P67 SLI 130-SB-E675-KR LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
EVGA P67 SLI 130-SB-E675-KR LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Nice looking, has everything I need.

Cons: Didn't work for very long.

Overall Review: I have had two fail on me now and both failed the day after I finished my computer. Talked to EVGA tech support and they told me I had a dead board...(Like I didn't know that) Sending for a RMA again, hope it works this time. I suggest that you go with Asus or Asrock, they have more features and are more reliable.

Hanns-G 23.6" Active Matrix TFT LCD LCD Monitor 5 ms D-Sub, DVI-D HL248DPB

Pros: I bought two of these for a Nvidia Surround setup, and both look fantastic.

Cons: No cons really.

Overall Review: The colors are slightly off compared to my central screen (both are off to the sides) but that is to be expected as they are different brands.

Very nice

Logitech Recertified 981-000277 F540 3.5 mm / RCA Connector Circumaural Wireless Headset

Pros: It sounds great, better than most other headsets I've tried. The mic is also very clear, and the range is crazy, I can be anywhere in my house and still hear just fine.

Cons: The only problem with this is that it wasn't designed for PC. It works with the USB cable for the PC, but you have to change it manually in windows if you want to use it.

Overall Review: Overall, I am very happy with it.

Was a great buy on sale

Corsair Force Series 3 2.5" 120GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) CSSD-F120GB3A-BK

Pros: Has had no trouble yet, I hope it stays that way. Having a SSD isn't as great as some friends have said, but it is an obvious improvement and worth the money(which was a little over a dollar a GB at the time)

Cons: Not really a con sense I have one, but it doesn't come with a SATA cable, which I think should be included for the price.
