Better than buying retail

Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit 1-Pack for System Builders
Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit 1-Pack for System Builders

Pros: If you're looking for a version of Win7 and don't mind not having Microsoft Technical Support, then get this. I was a little wary when I was looking at buying this. I didn't know if the licensing was special or came with restrictions. So far, I haven't had any problems.

Cons: None, really. Not having Microsoft Technical Support doesn't matter when you've never called it to begin with.

Overall Review: If all you're wanting is a copy of Windows 7 and want to get the most out of the OS, then get this. It's a full version. There's no bulk software loaded. You can upgrade or do a fresh install. There's no restrictions on it. The only caveat is that there is no Tech Support. So, if you're used to being the Tech Support and don't mind not calling Microsoft if you have an issue, then this is what you're looking for.

Very nice

Targus Black/Gray/Yellow 17" CityGear Los Angeles Notebook Case Model TCG417
Targus Black/Gray/Yellow 17" CityGear Los Angeles Notebook Case Model TCG417

Pros: Very spacious, light-weight and utilitarian. When I was looking for a laptop bag, I kept bouncing back and forth between a case and a backpack. I have to say that I like the bag. It's not as bulky and cumbersome as a backpack can be and can double as a regular briefcase. I also choose this case because finding a case that fits a 17" laptop turned out to be very difficult. This one works perfectly. Not only can I fit my ASUS G-Series G72Gx-X1 monster (and it's power cord/converter, which is huge), but it leaves me tons of room for files, books and everything else I've thrown at it. Definitely a good purchase.

Cons: Can be a little bulky. It's obviously not as easy to sling over the shoulder as its smaller cousins, but that's largely due to the fact that it's a 17" laptop bag. Others have warned of the rubber tabs on the zippers breaking. I haven't had this happen to me yet, but I've only had the bag for about 2 months.

Overall Review: This bag is definitely worth the buy and I would definitely recommend it to anyone else looking at buying a larger-laptop bag.

One word - Awesome!

ASUS Laptop G Series Intel Core 2 Quad Q9000 6GB Memory 640GB HDD NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M 17.3" Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit G72Gx-X1
ASUS Laptop G Series Intel Core 2 Quad Q9000 6GB Memory 640GB HDD NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M 17.3" Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit G72Gx-X1

Pros: Large screen, full keyboard, maxed RAM, fast CPU, dedicated GPU, etc etc. I knew this was a monster when I ordered it, but I didn't realize it would outpace my main system. With it's 6GB of RAM and 2.0GHz CPU OC'd, it's actually running faster than my main system. This was a pricey purchase but, so far, well worth it.

Cons: Definitely not a "lap" top. You don't want this puppy on your lap for too long, otherwise you'll need a spatula to get it off. I haven't gamed with it yet, but just the regular running gets warm. A cooler can solve this, though.

Overall Review: Since I've only had this for less than a week, I can't confidently say "yea" or "nay" on this, yet. But I've got a feeling that I'm not gonna be disappointed. There weren't any dead pixels and I'm loving the light-up keyboard. :D

Perfect!

Antec Nine Hundred Two Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Antec Nine Hundred Two Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Keeps my system cool and (relatively) easy access to all components. The 200mm fan on top runs smooth and quiet. I've had this case for almost 2 years now and haven't had any issues with it. I bought the case from Best Buy only because I didn't want to wait to get it for a few days. I love the connection panel being on the top, rather than the front or side. One case I had before has the panel on the side and I busted a USB port because of a mishap. The power supply bay being at the bottom rather the top helps with connecting all my drives (5 SATA & 1 DVD, currently).

Cons: Dust accumulation. With all the ventilation, dust builds up pretty easily. A regular cleaning is needed to keep everything running smooth. While having the power supply bay at the bottom is convenient for connections, the heat dissipation isn't as nice. Thankfully the power supply I have is good at self-cooling and not much heat remains inside the case. No other cons, really.

Overall Review: None.
